We have been hosting guest on the Outer Banks for over 12 years. We know how to treat our guests and what they are looking for in a vacation rental.

Wave Watcher has been updated from top to to bottom with all new flooring, new beds, linens, dishes, deck furniture and furnishings as well as fresh paint inside and out. One minute walk to the beach down a paved path. Major updates includes all new kitchen, new beds, painting inside and out, furnishings and decor. Fully stocked chef's kitchen with everything you need to prepare family meals located on quiet dead end cu-de-sac with direct beach access is the perfect play spot after a day at the each. Basketball goal in the driveway is a bonus for all the kids. All new bedding, pillows, comfy mattresses, and so much more!!!

Wonderful cottage in a great location! Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, wonderful views of the ocean and sound, quiet neighborhood. So comfortable, it felt like home. Would recommend and will turn!

Wonderful stay at the Wave Watcher

This house was amazing. We could see and hear the ocean everyday from our deck. The beach was a very short walk from the house. It is in a quiet neighbor as well. We enjoyed our trip and would go back in the future!!

Wonderful

This was the best location ever. The house had all we needed to include linens, towels, kitchen items. We loved being able to walk to the beach and back to the house with our 8 month old. The outdoor shower was amazing and so useful. We had our dog as well but we had to be careful with the wild cactus on the property. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Excellent Family Beach Vacation!

The Wave Watcher house was clean, comfortable, and met all of my family's needs. My wife and I stayed with our two kids for a week. All communication from the check-in to check-out directions with the owner was clear and very fast. The house fit my family very well. All amenities were described accurately and we loved our stay. The beach access is very close and we could see the ocean from the back deck. Our kids loved using the outdoor shower and the beach wagon was extremely handy. There are beach toys available, although we brought our own boogie boards. We were able to cook in the house easily but also drive just 10 minutes into Nags Head for tons of restaurants. It was nice to do a mix of cooking and eating out. The neighborhood was very quiet and family friendly. We would stay at Wave Watcher again and would highly recommend to friends.

Great family home

The house was beautiful and spotless and was supplied with everything we needed while away from home. The layout was perfect for us and our three children. The little touches of board games, beach toys, and other beach gear was super helpful. The walk to the beach was convenient and made beach days easy. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay!

This house was beautiful and VERY clean. It was a short walk across the street to the beach and 10 minute drive to plenty of great restaurants and bars. You can feel the breeze from the ocean and watch the waves. We were staying with our 15 month old and the owners took the time to baby proof! We really appreciated that and he had a great time while we didn’t have to worry. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! The home is so clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need- especially Tupperware! The outdoor shower is nicer than most indoor showers. The walk to the beach is so easy and short. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to come again.

Didn't want to leave!

This house is wonderful! The short walk to the beach and the quiet neighborhood make it a perfect location. The house itself is immaculate and cozy. All instructions are perfectly clear and communication is flawless. I really can't think of anything to improve here. If we visit the Outer Banks in the future, this will be the first place we look!

This was probably one of the cleanest homes I’ve ever stayed at! The location was perfect for us and it was nice to be a short walk away from the beach. Nelene was great and was quick to respond. We would love to stay at this home again in the future.

Great Location for Quiet Stay

We had a wonderful time at the Wave Watcher. It is as easy walk to the beach and the second story decks made a great place to read. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The owners were very attentive. They responded right away. At one point (through no fault of them) the batteries in the lock started running out. He came out within hours to change the batteries for us. The one thing I would note is that this isn't a location that you will be walking to dinner or shopping. However, that isn't something that we were looking for in a rental so it didn't matter to us. Honestly, the peace of quiet of the location made the short distance well worth it.

BEAUTIFUL Sunrises and Sunsets!

Stayed a week here at the Wave Watcher with my dad, boyfriend and 4 kids. The name suits itself as you can see the water from the back deck. They have beach chairs, boogie boards for the kids and sand toys. The outdoor shower was an added bonus; which we used every time we went to the beach. The beach was a short walk out the back and across the street. The street was not a busy street for anyone with families. The house was clean and had everything we needed to cook our meals inside. Nelene provided enough towels, wash clothes and linens which were all in sanitized bags upon our arrival. She kept the communication open which is always a plus!! She let us know that the AC was broke prior to our arrival and we had portable units in each bedroom. The next day the AC guy was there to fix the AC just like she said. I am truly grateful to have stayed here and defiantly look forward to another stay! Thank you for this wonderful beach getaway!

Perfect OBX vacation

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and this property did not disappoint. The location was excellent. The beach is just a short walk across the street and the house came equipped with beach chairs and boogie boards. Resturants, supermarkets and local attractions wete all just a short drive away. The house was really clean and up to date. The kitchen had all the utensils and pots and pans you would need. I give this house an A + and we would definitely stay here again in the future.
