Cozy 3 Bedroom Cottage in Nags Head -- Extra Apt with BR + BA Available

This listing is for the top floor of this cottage including tons of private outdoor space.

Booking the entire cottage (top and bottom floor) is possible. The entire cottage includes the 3br 2ba of this listings PLUS a separate, single level living space with a kitchenette, king bedroom, full bathroom, and full outdoor area access with an additional outdoor shower. The downstairs apt is perfect for extended family, folks with mobility limitations, or just extra space. To add the apartment to your booking, it is $100/night extra in the summer months and $75-95 extra in the shoulder/off-season. There is also an additional $75 cleaning fee.

Located in the heart of Gallery Row, around milepost 9.5, this cozy cottage is exactly what you're looking for. The cottage, newly listed on VRBO, is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and just a short walk from the best local restaurants and shops. With a large deck, spacious covered patio, indoor/outdoor bar and a big yard, this cottage is the perfect place for an authentic Outer Banks experience.

When booking this listing, you will access to the top floor and other private spaces and amenities. The top floor of the cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining, and living area. The top floor covered porch is also for you to enjoy a peak at the ocean. The outdoor amenities include a fenced in backyard with a covered patio, outdoor shower, and a spectacular indoor/outdoor kitchen and bar area.

Pups are welcome at a rate of $75 per dog. Would like to keep it to no more than 2 pups at a time.

The downstairs apartment may occupied by other renters enjoying their vacation as well.

The home was stocked with soap, toilet paper, and other amenities. The kitchen was well organized. The home had a pantry with a good amount of space. All the bedrooms had drawers and closet space. The home was clean and comfortable. One of the best homes I have stayed in.

We had a wonderful time staying at this cottage! It was clean and had everything we needed for our beach trip. The front deck and backyard were our favorite morning and evening hangout spots after a Long Beach day. The only thing that needs to be updated is the grill. It was very dirty and the flames would not work because the burners were encrusted with grime. Probably could be fixed with some hardcore cleaning but other than that it was a great vacation!

Perfect house for our little family and two dogs. The home was clean and stocked. The upper deck felt safe for our 18 month grandson which had locks on the gates which we appreciated. The outdoor spaces are great and definitely relaxing. Thank you for providing a clean and relaxing atmosphere even for shorter stays.

Nothing but great things to say about this property! The house was well-stocked. The location was such an easy stroll to the beach. We rented the main and lower level that gave us older adults quiet space from those wanting to stay up all night on the main level. All the beach chairs and wagons saved us from having to pack them. The outdoor area was wonderful to grill and eat outside in privacy. The two outside showers were outstanding to keep the beach out of the house. Well worth the stay!!

Pet Friendly--Very responsive owners--Great location!!

We loved this pet friendly property. We had a little issue the first night we got there but the owners were very responsive even late at night! They did everything they could to make sure we comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean, nice and had a back yard that you could enjoy a dinner on the grill and even a little man cave for preparing food! They even had a vase of flowers and a personal note on the counter when we arrived. We were very happy with the location and the owners could not have been more accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Walk to the beach from this cozy cottage

We really enjoyed the stay at the beach house that is in walking distance to the beach. My husband has a hard time walking,so the steps were a bit much but he managed. We knew what we were getting into. The beach has about 8 parking spots so we went early with the car to drop of the beach gear and my husband. The place was perfect inside with 3 bedrooms, good size family room, kitchen and backyard. We did not use the downstairs area as we were not clear if it was for us to use since there was others staying in the bottom house. Only after they left did we realize the code that we used for the door also worked downstairs for the cool hangout. Next time I will know. Loved the convenience of the washer and dryer and the extra beach towels to use. Overall, I would give it a 10 and stay again.

Great for a family getaway!

We loved staying here for our “last hoorah of summer” as a family! It was a perfect location to walk to the beach (or ice cream!) but set just enough back that it was not a busy street. Great place!

Great vacation rental!

The property was very clean and tidy and was in a great location! It was such a short walk to the beach and beach equipment was provided which was really nice. We loved having the option to grill out in the back yard and the bar was also a great add on! Our dog loved it as well! Overall great stay!

Wonderful accommodations

It was unanimous. This was the most relaxing, enjoyable, and convenient 4 days of the summer. 2 easy blocks to the beach, east side porch facing the wonderful ocean breeze, very comfortable, and perfect appliances and accessories in throughout! Dogs and family loved it and didn’t want to leave! Thank you, hosts! You have a great place!

Great for groups and dogs!

Super cute stay just a short walk to the beach! Perfect for a group of friends or family and your 4 legged companions. Had all amenities and then some, the only complaint I had is that the pots and pans were in pretty rough shape with the nonstick peeling/scratched off. But other than that literally everything was perfect. And having the backyard and bar/grill setup was so convenient for dinners outside. The host was also super friendly and answered all of my questions quickly. Would stay again!

Perfect for our needs

Easy process, nice place, clean and neat. Comfortable space. Beds look like they would be uncomfortable but they are not!! Many stairs to the main space so would not recommend it for anyone who may have issues with stairs! If 2 different “groups” were there at the same time the back area with the grill and table would be awkward as you could see right in that downstairs apartment. But great for a big group that rent both. Location is fine. Had to pull out keurig machine as we could not get the coffee maker on the counter to work. Back right bedrooms blind/shutter came crashing down when my daughter tried to open it. We put it back up and didn’t touch again. The bedroom on the left I could not open blinds as I was afraid they would fall. Hard to pull up and down. Would definitely rent again!
