Welcome to Mermaid’s Dream: the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation home!
2.5 short blocks / ~800 feet (3 minute walk) from the beach, or enjoy the pool that’s located right in front.

When home, enjoy a house full of amenities with a spacious living/dining room, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, plus a fenced private back patio.

It’s your home away from home perfectly situated for fun at the beach!

Mermaid’s Dream is the ideal home base for your Myrtle Beach vacation. This fully equipped house with a back patio is your home away from home. 400 Mbps high-speed internet is available throughout the house (plus a desk in each bedroom), so you can stay productive while enjoying your time at the beach!

After parking in one of your two parking spots, pass through the front porch to enter the living/dining room. There you will find a sofa, a 48" HD smart TV with Roku (you can access any streaming account you have), a dining table with seating for four, and counter seating for two.

Beyond is the fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove/oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, tableware, and cookware). Off the kitchen is the utility room with a washer and dryer, cleaning amenities, and beach chairs. Continue toward the back and find a full bathroom with a shower, a door to the back patio, and a staircase. The fenced, private rear deck features a table, chairs, an umbrella, and a charcoal grill.

Moving upstairs, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms plus a full bathroom with a tub and shower off the hallway. The front bedroom features a queen bed, a 37" HDTV with Roku, a desk, a dresser, and a closet. The back bedroom accommodates a queen bed, a twin bunk bed, a 37" HDTV with Roku, a desk, a dresser, and a closet.

When you’re ready to live that mermaid life and get in the water, you’ll find the pool steps away, just across the parking area. For the beach, walk 800 feet east to beach access or about 1,000 feet to Hurl Rocks Park. At both beach access points, you’ll find ramps to the beach, perfect for getting your beach wagon on the sand!

Excellent place to stay.

Overall great place to stay. Very clean and very nice place. Two blocks from ocean so an easy walk. Close to a Walmart. Only issue we had was the upstairs bunk bed seemed really loose and wobbly so we didn’t let the kids sleep on top bunk. Other than that PERFECT!

We really enjoyed the stay the house was all on theme, there's a full kitchen and it was supper close to get groceries and in a nice neighborhood to walk.

Its the small things

Upon arrival, everything looked clean and orderly. When we started getting settled, things started being noticed. All remotes had dead batteries.The dishwasher you had to slam the door to get it to work (they even told you that you need to do so on the welcome packet) they did not supply new dish sponges. Instead they had used ones for dishes. The welcome packet/binder had sticky food residue on it. The bath mats were not washed and gross. The area has a lot of homeless around it. When you would walk to the beach from the property, they were sleeping behind the units which made us feel uneasy. The noise ordinance for the area is a joke. Fireworks and craziness at until 3am. Just not what we thought it was going to be. If you are younger and are there to party all night long, it works great. The property needs some TLC. Again. The little things make for a better experience overall. For the price of the unit for the week. You would think new dishwasher and the small things mentioned would not be an issue.
