"The owners are very friendly and helpful, and are also very nice people. Everything is spotless. Beds are very comfortable and warm. Breakfast is really excellent. Restaurant meals are also really good. The area is really quiet and peaceful. Plenty of private car parking. Will definitely stay there again. "

"The property is well maintained and very clean , we found the room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order. The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area . Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough. The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break. We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer break"

"Amazing hotel. A real find. The owners are so welcoming. The room has everything you need- particularly Yorkshire tea bags. The facilities were fantastic for the price and what we needed for a weekend stay. Moretti on tap and a pool table in the cosy bar. The breakfast was exceptional. Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend. "

"Lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. The rooms don't have air-con and ours didn't have opening windows, so a little stuffy, but a fan is provided. The hotel is ideally located for the town and the beach, and there are plenty of bars & restaurants within walking distance. Parking is available for £6 per night, but it is on the street (very easy & close to the hotel though). Would stay again."

"Lovely quiet hotel in a small quiet village on the outskirts of Scarborough. Rooms were spotless, comfy beds, extra pillows already in room, fantastic shower (best we've had in a hotel), molten brown toiletries. Only down side was the noise from the extractor fan as we were in the back of the hotel. When mentioned staff were very apologetic as it hadnt been switched off at 9 as it should have been. Only gave 4/5 for amenities as there was only limited choice for gluten free evening meal, food...
