"So the room itself was clean, cozy, and decorated nicely. I have zero qualms about the room itself. HOWEVER, this was one of the strangest places I've ever stayed at. The rooms (maybe 6 total) were attached to the rear of a Horse Betting Booth, a bar/restaurant, and a bowling alley. You literally have to check in with the restaurant hostess as there isn't any actual hotel staff. Just outside of the rooms were random offices as well. So if you don't mind staying in the rear of a horse...

"We would absolutely stay here again. It was a great location close to great restaurant options and pretty views of the downtown and water. In the reviews I read the biggest complaint was the noise level. You could clear as day hear any conversations of other rooms if you were in the hallway. Once inside our rooms it wasn’t as bad but we are pretty easy sleepers and other guests were very respectful."

"This was a really cute hotel. Old style motel remodeled. We had the queen bunk beds with single. Perfect for our group of four. No one maintained the office but we had email contact. Received code for doors. Everything worked fine. It is no frills, but clean and well maintained. Played with outdoor games in back yard. Bathroom clean. Plenty of towels. Comfortable beds. Glad to have fridge. Would stay here again. We were doing a Cedar Point visit. Close by."

"We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and both breakfasts were very good with a nice selection of food. The only minor issue was that the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty, but after we informed the front desk, the receptionist quickly brought replacements. "It is a business place with a pretty great atmosphere! I loved the hot breakfast options. The pool was heated and indoors. I think they use salt water instead of chlorine and I enjoyed that. I stayed in a king suite with my friend the night before going to Cedar Point. It's a great location for that. We were fully rested after making the trek from Illinois. My room was quiet.
