"Fabulous one night stay at The Grosvenor Lodge. Staff were fantastic, very friendly, personable and welcoming. The breakfast (included) was a great continental selection. We were in the quad room at the very top. It was a very quiet place to stay and our family of four were comfortable enough. The bathroom was small and slightly awkward (being a loft room) and the shower could've been larger / more powerful. All in all a great stay and will definitely visit again. "

"All staff were extremely friendly and down to earth. Very warm greeting by the owner on arrival introducing herself and giving a brief history of the business. Showed us around and explained how things are done with the bar, breakfast etc. even introducing us to their pet, Lionel the parrot. We were given a choice of 2 rooms to pick from. Breakfast was a £14 cost regardless of what you had and due to doing a race that morning I only ate minimal. "The penthouse is a great room, no it's a small apartment!; a fantastic space, well equipped with abundant and great facilities and it has a fantastic terrace with break-taking views. However, it is looking quite tired and there were a few issues, i.e. the freezer wasn't working, so we couldn't make ice. The wine fridge also wasn't working. A couple of lamps need bulbs replacing and the blind doesn't work in the bathroom. "
