It was a great and comfortable stay. We loved the outdoor space and country feel. It was not far from town but felt like you were in the country. We would stay here again!

Hello, we greatly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. However, we strongly suggest that you redo the ladder on the bunk bed by placing the slats flat where a foot can easily climb up and down the bunk bed. The way the slats are placed, it hurts one's foot terribly and especially when one is usually barefoot when going up the ladder to the top bunk. Also, we felt placing all the sheets and towels into the washing machine stuffed it too full to actually wash them all, just our opinion. :) Otherwise, we LOVED the stay! Thanks so much! Oh, and there was hair wadded up against the wall in the bedroom on the left to the left of the door.

The Homestead Cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. The host had everything that you could need for your stay. They provided family games, s’mores bar, coffee, hairdryers, and lots more. I recommend this cabin 10 out of 10!

Family reunion

We spent a couple of nights here while attending a family reunion and it was perfect. The cabin is well appointed with everything we needed and the host responsive. The location is quiet but still near town. Would definitely stay again, thank you!

We loved our stay here.

We absolutely loved this cabin! As a single mother with 4 daughters, we felt very safe and comfortable here. It’s easy to find, close to town but still very quiet location. We saw deer nearby, a bunny that didn’t seem bothered by us at all, and beautiful fireflies in the yard. I loved the wrap around porch, the little ones enjoyed the tree swing, the older ones enjoyed the fire pit and complimentary s’mores. Easy check in/out, very clean. Will definitely book again when in the area.

Anniversary

My wife and I hadn’t been to Ozark folk center in years so we decided this is what we wanted to do. This cabin didn’t look like what was in the picture when I reserved it so there was a little confusion there but once we saw the address on the driveway we felt better. After I found my email with the entry code everything got better. The cabin was clean, roomy, and well appointed. My wife particularly enjoyed the fire pit and s’mores bar. It’s only a couple minutes to town which we found delightful.

Loved the Homestead. Definitely would stay again

One suggestion need a railing for the front steps for an older person like myself with poor balance. Loved the place decorated beautifully. The cabin was extremely clean and everything was there for a great experience. I would highly recommend the Homestead.

Amazing Little Cabin

We stayed here for the eclipse of '24, and could not have found a better place! The porch offered a cozy shaded spot to relax while kids played in the enormous yard (FYI, there's also a concrete pad back by the fire pit, *great* for a sidewalk chalk art area!). The cabin was exactly as described, and all the little amenities from charcoal for the grill to q-tips in the bathroom were on point. Sheryl did a great job, and made it a fantastic experience for our family!

Cabin was clean and efficient. Bedrooms were nice and had comfortable beds. The bunk beds were great for kids or small adults.
