A MUST STAY!

As you drive up the county roads you’re thinking “omgosh what did we get ourselves into”? And the. You make the turn into the winery and see all the vines and trees and the beautiful winery and then the Bluejay Cabin and all in the world is good again. Seriously we will be back. Cute, quaint and adorable little place. By the way, the wine is pretty good too…oh, then there’s the restaurant at the winery…triple star food!!! And the host made us feel like family. Again, a must stay!

Not as advertised

We showed up at the property and had to dodge wasps to enter. The code worked without an issue. Inside we found light switch fixtures missing, gnats flying all over, a dirty bathtub with hair all over the sides and a toilet that didn’t work properly. I reached out to one of the contacts, who never replied to me, to let them know we would not be staying. I also messaged the owner and never heard back from them. The location was beautiful and the check in process was great. The accommodations need attention.

Anniversary get away

The cabin was perfect for a short get-away for our anniversary. Its was clean & cozy. The scones left for us were amazing & dinner & drinks at the winery were amazing Q

Weekend away

This was truly a neat experience for us. Who would know there was a winery/vineyard within 150 miles of our home? We loved this place and the cottage “the Heron” was very cute and had everything we needed. Checkin was a little confusing because the cottage was previously named Tuscan Cottage. Finally decided to call the number on our confirmation. Went into the restaurant and after going thru three employees were told our reservation was correct in the cottage that said. Tuscan cottage. All in all we were very pleased and had a very nice meal there also. We will go back!

Wonderful weekend away

This cottage was perfect for an impromptu weekend away from home. It was cozy, and the snacks/drinks left for us were greatly appreciated! It's no exaggeration that the winery and restaurant is a short walk away. We had two great dinners there and bought some good wine, too. The restaurant is really handy because the vineyard is in a secluded area. There are three really beautiful state parks within an hour's drive, and we did some great hikes at each one. Staying at the cottage was a perfect, stress-free weekend.

Los Pinos are great hosts....but

Los Pinos Winery wants you to be happy, they bent over backwards for us during our stay. However, we didn't know that they had a Keurig Coffee maker, so we didn't bring any Kcups, and sadly there was no coffee, only a few Earl Gray tea. The door was apparently unlocked, so the code I was given didn't work when I wanted to leave for dinner. This was quickly remedied by one of the owners of Los Pinos coming out to assist. All in all it was a great weekend despite some disappointments. Perry and Jody with Los Pinos made our visit so much better, they were a great pleasure.
