This was by far the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. When we first entered the room, we took off my 20-month-old granddaughter’s shoes. Within just 20 minutes of walking around in her socks, they were completely black with dirt. The carpet between the beds smelled strongly of urine, and that odor lingered throughout the night.
The safety latch on the room door was broken, and the side entrance of the buildings door did not lock, meaning anyone could walk in at any time—a serious safety concern. It seemed that many of the rooms were being used for long-term housing. Groups of residents regularly gathered by the side entrance to smoke, forcing us to walk through clouds of smoke to get inside. Nearly everyone had dogs, and the entire first floor reeked of wet dog—a smell that was overpowering. There were also several cats roaming the parking lot, which added to the unkempt atmosphere. There were bowls and plates of cat food around the building as well.
The room looked nothing like the pictures on Expedia. It was run-down, dusty, and smelled bad. Two other family members stayed in separate rooms and reported the same issues.
I’m generally very easygoing, but this place was beyond unacceptable. I couldn’t wait to check out, and I will absolutely never stay here again.
If you're considering booking a room here, I strongly urge you to think twice. This is not a clean or safe place to stay.
