"This was a great little spot. It had a beautiful pool on the hillside, where I took my complimentary coffee and breakfast, and the room was super clean. It must have been remodeled recently, and they did a great job. None of the hallmark bad paint lines or any of that stuff you often see in a budget motel. I'd say it was great for the price, but that makes it sound like it was nice for an inexpensive motel. It was just really nice place."

"An hour after checking in and going to my room, I was advised that there was an additional $96 fee because my room had been changed from a king to two double beds. The king was unavailable. Felt like a down grade because it was on the first floor and could every step of the people above. Thanks to Expedia for fixing it and not making me pay the surprise charge."

"Where can you see a hotel that charges another extra fees if you request for a late check out, it's not like super late check, most hotel they allowed guest to check out at noon w/o additional charges, this hotel is charging $25+tax just to request an extra hour from the original check out time. Also my beddings has a blood stain which is disgusting, the bed is worn out they should at least change their bed, it's sinking down when you sat on it what more when you lay down, it hurts my back."

"This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. "The owners were super friendly to my children. We stayed in the Sterling room which was like a library! My children enjoyed looking through the books. My only comment was we had no choices for breakfast and my kids wouldn't eat the breakfast. More for me though!"
