"Though bijou, it was well designed and the space was very well used. The outside space was good and lovely to have the hills around, We did have problems using the very modern microwave/grill and cooker - It needed DETAILED WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS! and we would have preferred an ordinary electric kettle. A corkscrew, too would have been useful! But, we enjoyed a wonderful 2 days"

"Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. "The property was ideal, central to Keswick but was quiet and had parking alongside the property.it was well furnished and equipped. The only downside was the miserly equipment for washing dishes. No adequate dishcloth, washing up liquid or pot brushes.Forget these gimmicky presentation packs and provide what is really required. On the whole a very enjoyable stay and would use it again."

"We stayed at The Eyrie early June 2026 as a family of 5 adults. The property location is perfect - close to ample parking and right next to the town centre, which was buzzing with lovely shops, cafes, wine & cocktail bars and lovely places to eat. The views from The Eyrie are stunning. The Eyrie had so much space and was very well presented. Lovely, comfy beds and all facilities great. Everything thought of.
