New Renovation - Historic Home with Modern Comfort

Newly renovated and designed historic home in the heart of the Garden District is your perfect resting spot during your visit to Montgomery. Walk or bike under tree covered sidewalks to restaurants, bars, and galleries. Drive a short 1.5 miles downtown where you can visit the Peace and Justice Memorial, enjoy events at Montgomery Performing Arts Center, and experience the sights and sounds of some of the most historically important sites in American history.
The space
We have planned every detail for your comfort. Upon entering, you’ll find a comfortable hang out space with a 55” smart TV, ready for you to plug right in. The beautifully remodeled kitchen has all of the amenities needed for your stay including a coffee station and brand new appliances. The bathroom is stocked with plush towels and the bed is equipped with a 10” memory foam mattress, helping you drift off to sleep after a long day of travel or meetings.

We are located on a Main Street in a relatively quiet neighborhood. However, you can expect a little noise from school buses, Ubers, and day to day traffic. The house sits on a hill and away from traffic.

The house is part of a duplex. The other unit in this duplex is also a short term rental and is available to rent.

  • Alabama State University is a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in Montgomery, Alabama. Founded less than two years after the end of the Civil War as the Lincoln Normal School in Marion, Alabama, it is one of the oldest HBCUs in the United States. Nine ex-slaves, Joey Pinch, Thomas Speed, Nickolas Dale, James Childs, Thomas Lee, John Freeman, Nathan Levert, David Harris, and Alexander H. Curtis, made up the first Board of Trustees. Under their guidance, the black and white community of Marion raised five hundred dollars to buy land for the school’s campus.

Convenient to Downtown Montgomery

We came to Montgomery to tour the Legacy Sites (highly recommend), and it was a very short and easy drive to Downtown. The unit was adequate for our needs.

Everything you need

Great location, centrally located. This is half of a beautifully renovated home, although you won’t hear anything from the other half. New washer and dryer was a bonus! Very comfortable king size bed. We enjoyed our stay in Montgomery very much!

Cozy and clean

This beautiful one bedroom is clean and comfortable. It has so many amenities, and the kitchen is especially charming. The hosts quickly responded when I asked for extra blankets. It was an excellent stay!
