Delightful gite in La Graffeuille with exclusive use of swimming pool & hot tub

Gite la Graffeuille and the owners' house sit in an acre of lovely gardens. The gite is separate and securely fenced off from the main house, with the half an acre of garden, plus the swimming pool ( with safety alarm), being exclusive to the gite guests (open May to October) The wood-fired hot tub is available all year, and is also exclusive to you.
This 2 bedroom, recently- refurbished, gite sleeps 5.
There is a spacious and well-equipped kitchen/ dining room, including a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee- maker and high chair. A washing-machine, ironing board and iron are available on request. The comfortable sitting room has a stunning view through triple patio doors. There is English and French TV, DVD player, CD player, Wifi, and a selection of DVDs and games. The shower room/WC has a walk-in shower, illuminated sink unit, and heated towel rail. There are 2 upstairs bedrooms, the first has a double bed and cot. It leads on to a balcony, with seating for 2 people, overlooking the pool, and the views are amazing. The second bedroom has 3 single beds. All the rooms are heated by electric wall heaters in the winter, and fans are provided in both bedrooms in the summer.
There swimming pool is 8x4 metres, with a constant depth of 1.32 metres (no deep-end)The pool is fitted with a safety alarm and is surrounded by a large deck area, which offers 5 sun loungers, a table with 6 chairs, a parasol, and BBQ. There is an adult double swing in the shade of the trees, a children's swing and boule and badminton can be played on the lawn. There is off-road parking for 2 cars, and garage parking for 2 motorbikes.
Please note smoking is not permitted in the gite.
We welcome well-behaved pets.

Séjour de 4 nuitées qui s’est très bien passé. Les propriétaires sont très agréables et disponible. Le grand jardin ombragé, la piscine et le bain nordique fonctionnels, au top.Le gite correspond bien au descriptif, très bien équipé, pas de mauvaise surprise

Vacances ressourçantes

Nous avons tous grandement apprécié notre séjour. Calme, détente, amusement, zen et bienveillance des propriétaires. On c’est senti bichonné et dans une bulle de bien-être qui nous a permis de recharger nos batteries tout en visitant et profitant de la région. Un très grand merci à Richard et Karen pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse.

Très belle maison avec grand jardin et piscine parfaite pour se reposer

La maison est très bien équipée avec tout ce qu'il faut. Il y a un grand et beau jardin bien entretenu. La piscine est grande et bien exposée avec le soleil tout l'après-midi. Il y a aussi tout le confort avec transats et parasols. On peut bien profiter des longues soirées d'été à l'extérieur. Karen et Richard sont très accueillants et se rendent disponibles si besoin. Nous avons passé une agréable semaine en famille et reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Karen et Richard

What a beautiful place

Greeting from Karen & Richard was so nice. A lovely couple who presented the property so very well. The gardens were immaculate and brilliant for the kids and our dog. We had a fantastic relaxing week. Visiting a few beautiful chateau’s. Great location just a few miles from the motorway, in the fantastic French country side. So access to the surrounding towns and villages are easy.

Perfect!

We had a wonderful week at La Graffeuille and would have been very happy to stay another week. It is such a special place with everthing that a family could need for a holiday. We loved it all - pool, decking area, large garden (fully fenced - perfect for furry friends!), hot tub, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a lovely balcony for morning coffee! Richard and Karen were so friendly and all communication was clear and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Superb Holiday

The most relaxed and enjoyable holiday. Karen and Richard were perfect hosts making sure everything was okay. Always ready with advice and directions of places to go. The Gite and facilities were excellent I could go on and on about the well kept garden with plenty of space for pets play and explore

Excellent accueil de Karen et Richard qui sont très attentifs à ce que le séjour se passe de la manière la plus agréable possible! Le logement est propre, agréable, et l'extérieur également, même si nous n'avons pas pû en profiter pleinement à cause de la météo. Merci à Karen et Richard!

Beautiful Gite in a beautiful part of France

Richard and Karen were great hosts and equally inviting were their three beautiful dogs. They couldn’t do enough for us and nothing was a problem. The wood fired hot tub was fantastic - very relaxing after a long day out. The gite itself was well equipped and perfectly sized, surrounded by peaceful French Countryside. A perfect respite but also well placed for many trips out, there was just not enough time today everything. We would love to return.

Fabulous stay

Well appointed modern gite located in lovely quiet location. Amazing outdoor space and facilities. Great for walks our dogs were in their element. Good location for exploring the surrounding villages Fab Michelin restaurant in the village. Karen and Richard were welcoming and helpful hosts throughout our stay. If you are looking for a gem to relax in and enjoy the countryside we would recommend.

Amazing retreat with wonderful hosts!

My friend and I booked this for 6 nights and were super impressed with how immaculately the cottage/gite was kept. Karen and Richard were wonderful hosts, along with their two lovely dogs. The location is excellent if you like the quiet countryside and sweeping green hillside (which was perfect for our much needed holiday). We recommend this place highly.

AMAZING

Nous avons passé un séjour génial dans un écrin de verdure et de tranquillité, tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour nous ressourcer en famille. Le lâcher prise était total. Le gîte est très bien tenu, aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et nous ont offert de belles prestations. A recommander bien évidemment.

Perfect holiday getaway

The gite was lovely. Exceeding our expectations, it had all we needed and more, so well equipped. Karen and Richard, our hosts were superb, unobtrusive, but informative with excellent local knowledge. The wood fired hot tub was an unexpected bonus, which used a lot during our two week stay, perfect for easing our weary legs after the long walks in the area. If you are into walks, there are so many around to chose from, we didn't get to do them all (download the Circwi app for comprehensive walk and bike routes). Set in a beautiful location, lovely garden, great patio there is plenty to do should you want to have a lazy day at base… but the weather was kind to us for the time of year so we took advantage of it. K and R have two lovely flatcoats who won over our tentative whippet… she had a ball! As did we, perfect relaxing holiday. We would definitely come again.

Je recommande ce gite

Gîte au calme.. au milieu d un avre de paix.. à 8 minutes du lubersac où vs trouverez tous les commerces nécessaires. Le gîte est fonctionnel.. tv linges de lit et toilettes. Jaccuzi extra !!! Hôtes tjrs à l écoute si besoin.. nous avons passé 4 jours idylliques. Petit bébé pour des séjours plus long.. pas de machine à laver le linge pour le moment.

Un cottage très calme dans la campagne offrant un bel espace de repos en famille. Proche de Pompadour pour les amoureux de chevaux. Très propre et fonctionnel. Un grand jardin pour profiter de l'espace avec ou sans animaux. Très bon accueil de Karen et Richard
