Ditch Plains - Walk to Ocean Beach - New Kitchen, Bath, & Bedrooms

This newly renovated sun-drenched A-frame house is located on a quiet street just a short walk to the Ditch Plains ocean beach. The front deck features a retractable awning which extends over the patio set, providing shelter from the sun for comfortable outdoor relaxation. The front deck also has a gate which can be helpful with small children. The living area consists of a large open space with vaulted cathedral ceilings where the dining area and living room are combined into one big room. The new kitchen overlooks the living room and dining area, separated by a counter top accompanied by stools where family and friends can sit and eat, or chat with people in the kitchen, living room or dining area. Three newly renovated main floor bedrooms; master bedroom with New master bathroom. * Central Air Conditioning * High-speed Internet* Three flat screen TVs. Recently finished basement with Pool Table and Full Bath. Walk to Ocean. *Swimming Pool, Tennis, and Golf are available at Montauk Downs State Park. Horseback riding, biking, fishing, and water sports are all available in the area.

Warm & Comforting Getaway

The home felt cozy and very comfortable with a great fireplace. It was absolutely wonderful, relaxing and a great few days where my family and I made great memories. The house was extremely clean and conveniently located just a few blocks from the beach. I can’t wait to go back!

A great stay!

We had a great three night stay at this beautiful home. It was so clean and had everything we needed. A short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and attractions. The owner was very communicative and so friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Great Property

Wonderful home in East Montauk neighborhood. 7 minute walk to the Ditch Plains Beach. The home was great, with plenty of room for a group of 5-6, and a fun downstairs game space complete with a pool table and trundle bed. We had a nice time!

Perfect all around

We had a wonderful time here! Marie Louise could not have made this process and home more accessible for us. The home is beautiful and just a short walk to the beach. We loved it so much, hope to be back!

Perfect Montauk in May getaway

What a wonderful place to spend time with family. Ditch Plains is filled with it's own charm but this house has all the comforts of a beachy vacation mixed with the comforts of feeling at home. We loved everything about it!

Ditch Plains May 2022

Everything was really excellent. The only down side is that East Hampton town controls the beaches and you need a resident parking permit or pay $150 fine if you park there. One of the main reasons we went to Montauk was the beach.

Beautiful home, well set up for a beach vacation stay. New kitchen, great finished basement and great deck out front. really comfortable and clean and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice rental in Montauk.

Wonderful location and property!

We had a great week staying in Ditch Plains and enjoying Montauk. My husband was able to surf and enjoy some waves. We also enjoyed the home and the front porch was wonderful. It would have been nice if it was a little warmer but the sun was out all week. We were also able to meet the home owners and they were lovely.

A perfect place to relax

We had the most wonderful week in Montauk - thanks to warm and sunny weather and lovely walks at the beach (where our dog made many new friends) and in the State Parks near by. We came here to relax from the noise of NYC and it turned out to be the perfect place for us! The house was very clean, well equipped and cozy. Marie Louise is such a welcoming and warm host and made sure we had everything we needed. At the end of our stay we were really sad to leave and we can recommend this place wholeheartedly!

Great stay

We had a great week the house was perfect for our family. Plenty of space with three bedrooms and three baths plus a huge and updated rec room on the lower level. Very clean and comfortable. Easy walk to the beach, with quick access to town or to the lighthouse. Nice private property that’s well maintained. Owners were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed.

Great Stay...hope to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marie's house in Ditch Plains, Montauk, NY. The house was perfect. It was immaculately clean when we arrived . The bedrooms were roomy and the finished basement was a plus. The house was fully stocked with kitchen equipment and beach equipment. The house was only a short 3 block walk to the most beautiful picturesque beach in Montauk. Marie was a great host, very responsive to all our questions. We hope to return for another visit.

Great location & beautiful home!

Spent New Years weekend here and couldn't have asked for a better spot. Super clean and cozy and a quick walk to the beach. Great amenities including a grill, stocked kitchen - and pool table! Marie Louise was a wonderful host. Would definitely stay here again :)

Perfect week escape

We wanted a beautiful place to take hikes, wall on the beach and spend quality time as a family. The home is perfect, clean and comfortable, 2 mim from the beach, plenty of gorgeous hikes and nice places to buy food!! Highly recommended!!

A real special place

My wife, 17-year-old son, and I had a wonderful time while staying in Ditch Plains. The house could not be more convenient and comfortable. A magnificent beach is less than a 5-minute walk away. And our son really enjoyed surfing. (We ended up renting him a surfboard at Air & Speed in town). The town of Montauk and its markets, restaurants (Inlet Seafood Restaurant was our favorite), state parks(Shadmoor State Park has an incredible trail on the bluffs above the beach), and tennis facilities ( Montauk Downs State Park) are minutes away by car. It's even possible to walk into town from the beach. My wife and I shared the nice sized master bedroom with an adjoining full bathroom. My teenage son loved staying in a fully furnished basement with a pool table. We used the gas grill multiple nights and dined on the well apportioned front deck. And we were able to play with our dog in the backyard. This was one of the best vacations we've had in years.

Wonderful Home

Excellent Montauk Ditch Plains home

The house was very nice, clean and comfortable. Lots of room, 3 bedrooms, excellent finished basement with pool table, daybed and bathroom. Easy walk to the beach, and a very nice deck if you want to relax outdoors. Dealing with the owner was pleasant and we were happy to arrive and find more than we expected.

Amazing Week in Montauk!

Such a fun week out in Montauk staying here! We had people in and out all week, and had plenty of room for everyone (8-9 people at one point). The basement area is way bigger than expected and was perfect for my brother, wife and his baby to stay a little separated from everyone in the mornings. The house is super clean and well cared for, and has everything you need to BBQ and hang out on the deck outside. It’s about a quarter mile walk or bike ride to Ditch Plains. We usually dropped our stuff off by car and then rode bikes back down. Marie was quick to respond to a couple of questions we had during our stay. Definitely looking forward to renting this house again next year! Thanks!

Hope to be back, great house!

The house worked very well for us, just the right size for 4 guys on a golf trip or I'm sure for a family or two. Clean comfortable and everything worked. Nice Weber grill we used a few times. Very nice area, you can hear the ocean, it's a 5-10 minute walk. We played golf at Montauk Downs, a great tract just 5 minutes away. Many restaurants and bars in the area. Nice host!

Great place, great location

My wife, daughter, and I spent a long weekend here. The place fit our needs really well - spacious (could fit two families), nice kitchen, good front light, great basement with a nice pool table, quiet, and best of all, only a ten minute walk or two minute drive to a beautiful beach. The owner was very friendly and responsive and made our stay really nice. We would stay here again.
