Come experience fantastic views and incredible sunsets from the deck or dock. Make memories with family and friends around the grill on the upper deck, or on the water. With 4 bedrooms each with its own full bath and an open loft with convertible sofa sleeper, sleeping options are plentiful for the entire family. A family of 12 will easily sleep comfortably! All the lake amenities that you could ask for are included with an oversize dock, with an additional floating dock. swimming areas with rafts and life jackets. There is a hot tub located on the lower level deck with beautiful views of the lake, relaxing Adirondack chairs, and more.
Conveniently located near the Bridgewater Plaza, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and more. There are many nearby attractions including restaurants, wineries, state park hiking trails, local shopping, boat/kayak/jet ski rentals, etc, all within a few miles of the home.
The open floor plan on the main level includes a well-equipped kitchen featuring a new toaster, utensils, dining, and living area, fireplace, and TV. Numerous windows and sliding glass doors allowing the sunny days of lake life into the home.
Have a seat in the family room and enjoy the fireplace, gather on the main level deck which features a gas grill and abundant seating and tables for maximizing time outdoors during meals or morning coffee. Head down to the lower-level game room to enjoy a game of pool, or grab a board game while having a fun-filled evening with family and friends.

The house was beautiful! We had a little trouble to start out with electronic keypad, but Zak was very responsive and talked us through it. There were a few issues with things not being in order regarding dirty grill left by another tenant, spa not having correct chemicals to treat the water. These appeared to be due to the cleaning company between tenants, but again, Zak came right out and rectified all issues. We had a splendid time in the lake, fishing, boating, and generally having a blast!

Enjoyed our first lake vacation with our family of 10. Ages ranged from late 60’s to 7. We live at the beach, so we were looking for a change. House was well equipped for many lake activities. We rented a pontoon boat for a day and it was a plus having a deep water dock available at the house. House was clean, well equipped and beds comfortable. We did use a new air mattress( provided by Zak) instead of the sofa bed, and our granddaughters said it was comfortable. I found that reaching Zak through his phone was much better than the VRBO link. He was very responsive with my calls.

It was a very comfortable lake house to stay in. It was nestled in a quiet cove, which allowed for a more relaxing experience. The kitchen was well equipped, which made for easier meal preparations. The dock was only 35 steps from the house and accommodated our watercraft and family well.

Beautiful home with all the amenities. The dock area housed fun lake gear our adult and teenage kids enjoyed. Plenty of room for the 11 of us and all our own gear!

Totally Enjoyed

House was very comfortable for 9 people. Water toys that were available were a big hit for the grandchildren and adults. Never even ventured to the community pool. Great location to the Bridgewater Marina. Family totally enjoyed the stay.

Great house on the lake!

Our family had a great vacation at this house on the lake. Everyone enjoyed swimming and using the kayak, paddle boards and floats! Loved the view! The host got back to us right away about an issue. Will definitely go back.

Terrific House/Dock on Smith Mountain Lake

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed in this house. Ten of us from age 10 to 75, three generations. Location is great. Kids loved the dock with a swimming pad, paddle boards, kayak, floats, etc. I was in contact with the host (Zack) several times. He was very responsive and handled these minor items immediately. Thank you Zack.

Zac's house was a perfect base for our family reunion. We would stay there again. Just be aware that you will only have "starter packs" of things like paper goods and dish cleanser. It was fine as we made several trips to Food Lion nearby anyway.
