"Very unique owners, both from Scotland, I believe, and they were the only staff that we interacted with. They were entertaining, gave great advice regarding places to find good food, and in particular, good seafood, and they keep a very nice hotel in downtown Pictou, just a couple of blocks from the harbor. It is an old building, so there is no elevator. Nonetheless, it is so well decorated that you don’t mind climbing steps to your room. Very nice furnishings, very clean room, quite comfortable...

"The room was very clean and on the first floor. It was very noisy starting at about 5 am. Breakfast was very good and opened early I assume to accommodate the working people. Staff was friendly and courteous but no recognition of IHG member. Not as nice of an experience as my previous stays with holiday inn."

"It was a beautiful place to stay. The outdoor pool was clean and warm (cleaned every morning). The road to go in was a bit rocky, but well worth it. Lots of trails and outdoor activities. The deck could use some work & stain, also there were no chairs to sit on outside on either your own back deck or the main covered porch.
