"The people at the reception desk were very organized to check us in and take our credit card but were clearly negligent to advise us that the air conditioning was not functional in our room. "The hotel is superb. The facilities were clean. We arrived really late on a Saturday night, and the front desk person was super friendly. He answered our WhatsApp message and sent us photos and instructions on where to meet the shuttle and driver. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices in the buffet. We will definitely stay here when we’re back in Porto."

"Not a 4 star hotel. Super dated old hotel and they don’t even try to maintain anything. When something breaks down, they don’t even try to fix it. We came into a hot room and the AC was not blowing, and they tried to gaslight me. Make me feel like I’m crazy. But we booked two rooms and the other room the AC was blowing just fine. They made it seem like we didn’t know how to use an AC and they did not change the room until the third time we asked. The balcony area looked really gross. Everything...

"If using the indoor pool, bring a swim cap and flip flops so you don’t need to purchase them. Otherwise, great stay just outside of Porto. We used Bolt to get around during our stay."

"The staff is very pleasant and helpful! A nice downhill 15-20 min walk will bring you where the action is in old Porto by the river! The property is thoughtfully laid out with an inviting garden and interesting art work in the hallways. The washroom is clean and modern. The kitchenette is cute and functional. Great job team 705!"
