Modernly renovated vacation home with panoramic views in the Ennstal Valley

Welcome to the Cosy Alpine House – Krois Vacation Home, your private retreat for a relaxing vacation in the Austrian Alps. This detached vacation home underwent a complete, high-quality renovation from September 2025 through May 2026 and combines modern living comfort with cozy Alpine charm.

Set on a quiet 2,400 m² lot, you’ll enjoy complete privacy. The house offers approximately 100 m² of living space and is available for your exclusive use during your stay.

The house

The vacation home features:

-2 comfortable bedrooms, each with a double bed (200 × 180 cm) and a spacious 5-door mirrored closet
-spacious living and dining room
-fully equipped kitchen
-Modern bathroom with a walk-in rain shower
-Separate restroom with an additional sink
-Large sun terrace with a magnificent mountain panorama

The only exception is the room to the left of the entryway—the utility room.

High-quality finishes

Numerous upgrades were carried out as part of the complete renovation:

-Solar panel system
-Underfloor heating in the kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and hallway
-Infrared heating panels in the living room and bedrooms
-New aluminum windows with high-quality thermal insulation glazing
-New front door and patio door
-High-quality solid-wood doors throughout the interior

The traditional tiled stove also ensures cozy evenings, comfortably heating not only the living room but also both bedrooms via warm-air vents.

Kitchen

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with:

-Dishwasher
-Washing machine
-Refrigerator
-Oven with glass-ceramic cooktop
-Microwave
-Filter coffee maker
-Cookware, pots, and pans
-Dishes and silverware for at least four people

Bathroom

The bathroom features:

-A spacious, walk-in rain shower
-sink
-mirror cabinet
-electric towel warmer with a timer

The toilet is separate and also equipped with a small sink.

-Living area

The cozy living and dining area features:

-A dining table for up to six people
-A comfortable corner sofa
-An LCD TV
-Wi-Fi

Internet access is currently provided via a copper line with speeds of up to 50 Mbit/s. A fiber-optic connection with an expected speed of 300 Mbit/s is anticipated starting in September 2026.

Patio & Garden

The large patio is perfect for relaxing and offers a stunning view of the Grimming, the Gesäuse, and the surrounding mountains.

Amenities include:

Here you can enjoy breakfast, dinner, or simply a few relaxing hours surrounded by nature.

Parking

Free parking is available right in front of the house on the lawn and offers enough space for up to two cars.

The municipality of Mitterberg-St. Martin is situated on a sunny high plateau and offers an impressive view of the mighty Grimming, Europe’s highest freestanding mountain.

The Mitterberg-St. Martin Activity Arena features 14 varied routes for hikers, runners, and Nordic walking enthusiasts. In winter, you’ll find perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails and a lighted toboggan run.

The Salza Waterfall is a special place of power that captivates visitors with its stunning natural scenery in both summer and winter.
