"The room was a great setup for a family with a separate kids room away from the main living area and bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped. YouTube on the tv was helpful with the kids. Bathroom spotless and nice tub. Alpacas, a sheep and bunnies were on the property and the owner gives you food you can hand feed them. Great playground and grassy area for kids to play on. Really friendly and helpful owner!"

"The deluxe double room was big, comfortable and clean. The corridors, room and lift seemed like they were new. A good shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Excellent location for the Skyline Gondola and zip wire etc - just walking distance. But need to drive into the centre of Rotorua. Parking was no problem because there's a bottle store and dairy next door and which have parking when parking at the hotel was full."

"Loved the heated pool and spa area (there are two spa pools) it was PERFECT for our kids - 3 year old and two 8 month olds. This is definitely family friendly. It is further away from all the main shops in town (I like being able to walk to places for dinner) but it is still very close by car, only 5 mins. When we wanted to just chill after a big day out we took the toddler on one of the two trampolines and also played on the swings. Nigh swims with the kids and then into the spa pool really...

"It looks like it was used as a Covid accomodation and not revamped. Very much in need of lick of paint and the receptionist said they are having a full overhaul come April 30th, 2026. The sheets were clean and we checked the mattress for bed bugs and seemed all good after scathing reviews of roaches and termites etc. Pool needed a clean or at least a sweep with a catcher and it would’ve been even better. Supposed to be a non smoking place but a few were walking around with darts and no effort...

"Room was very clean, and well kept. Hot tubs available for use, as well as a "hangi" with cooking instructions. Showers had great water pressure, and lots of hot water. Rooms were a little dated, but well kept, and decent amenities. "

"The room was awful! Had over 500 ants, dirty, wet with rain water coming in to the room. We complained to you and the owner. He agreed to move us but charged us more than twice the rate for the room. It was very unhealthy to stay there. I would like to make an official complaint with you all as it was a shed changed to a room and just not a bedroom. No tables, closet or anything. Absolutely awful!! Disappointed that you could not do anything to help us and we were forced to stay there for one...

"The place wasnt refreshed for our stay. Dust inside all the cups and on the tables etc. A dead roch sitting in the container that held the tea n sugar. Need to supply 2 more towels as there was 2 people staying 2 nights and we only had 2 towels. Lawns were unkept. Theres a tin shed ryt out where the bed is. It was scratching n banging up on the wall and keeps you from falling into deep sleep. The blue pillow cases had dribble stains on the fabric. If these details where more tended to it would...

"Very unhappy about arriving the house to find it hadn't been serviced rotten food in the oven so we didn't dear use the oven the entire stay Had to clean all the plates and cups cutlery. The house had a musty smell that no matter how much you sprayed air freshener. Also was unaware that they had 2 other accommodation on the property which meant we had to share property with strangers . Only good thing about this house was the bathroom shower.
