"The place is run down and it smells like someone is constantly smoking weed. It was either the bad Tucson air quality or the room, but I ended getting sick for a week after. Door keycard had to be re-key 4 times. Just a bad experience located in a bad area. I would spend the money to stay somewhere else next time."

"Older hotel but pretty clean, staff extremely friendly. Hot water is not great nor were the pillows. Housekeeping does not come every day but you can still get more towels etc… Internet goes in and out but plenty of parking and really close to airport."

"Room was clean and good sized. Towels good. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was better than expected with a large variety of options including 2 sizes of make your own waffles.
Interesting that the 2-floor hotel has 100 through 400 numbered rooms on all floors, but dedicates odd numbers rooms on the first floor and even ones on the second floor."

"A few things we weren’t happy about it. Only 1 remote control was needed to replace batteries not working even though the suite had 2 TVs . They told us at the time of reservation we had breakfast free included they didn’t give us free breakfast the day we were there. Miss communication between front desk and restaurant Hotel in general wasn’t very clean."

"The staff is lazy, we had to call 5 times for a shuttle, they wouldnt even answer the phone. Old dirty pair of mens socks left in our room, front desk Nathan said, o sorry it hapoens all the time,
had to wait an hour for towels, went to desk for towels and was told no, we had to wait at room. For 200 bucks a night, service was horrible. Won't be returning."

"the Marriot side of the property was in nedof repair. Furniture shoddy in the rooms, microwave missing, coffee machiine and hair dryer old, out of date. Washcloths ragged. I stayed there because the Tucson medical Center said it was closeby."

"We ended up checking after the first night because we just couldn’t do another night. The retro vibe and pool area are genuinely charming, and a few staff members were fantastic, but the overall stay was rough. The room was either hot and stuffy or filled with the constant roar of an extremely loud AC unit, so sleep was awful either way. The bed and pillows also felt very worn and flat, and the bed itself had a musty feel with no bounce or support left in it.
What made it more disappointing was...

"So first off this is a beautiful hotel and the mountain view was incredible. Mountain view wasn't even advertised because I guess it's expected but it was gorgeous either way.
The pool closes at 10 sharp. We had hoped that as long as we got in before 10 they wouldn't kick us out immediately, but at 9:56 they were telling us we had three minutes.
The room was great but it only had one working TV remote for the two tvs, and one remote that did nothing. Sitting area, bed, hot water all perfectly...
