Brand new modern chalet just minutes from Blue Ridge. This 3-bedroom chalet offers 3 full-size bathrooms, a half bath and room for 8, along with a convenient location about 10 miles (15 min) from downtown Blue Ridge. That means easy access to all the wonderful attractions and splendor of Blue Ridge while enjoying the privacy and seclusion of Mineral Bluff. Featuring high speed Wi-Fi, Hot Tub, Cable TV, and a large deck with a fireplace to enjoy all those cool nights with family and friends.

Located in Mineral Bluff, Chardonnay Chalet is approximately 15 minutes from Blue Ridge. A gravel road leads up to the chalet where your wonderful vacation awaits. Available parking for up to 3 vehicles.

This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath chalet that sleeps 8 is 2 levels. There are a small set of stairs that lead up to the covered porch. On this level, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a large island just waiting to be used those large family meals. The open floor plan living area features a couch, 2 chairs, and a TV above the gas fireplace. The room is finished off with a dinning table that can seat 6. Also on this level is the powder room and full washer/dryer.

The master bedroom is right off the main living space and includes a King bed with TV and features an attached bathroom. The bathroom features dual vanities and a gorgeously tiled shower with a rainfall head.

As you descend into the lower level you will enter the game room. Here you will find the wet bar as well as several entertainment items (TV, foosball, arcade, etc.). You will also find a pull out sofa that makes into a Full sized bed. Off the game room you will find two additional bedrooms. The first includes two bunked Twin beds with a TV. The second is a King with a TV. There are two full baths on the lower level. The first features a tub while the other is a full shower enclosure. All tastefully decorated and ready for your enjoyment.

Outside on the main level there is a large deck that offers several seating options, a picnic table, as well as the relaxing wood burning fireplace with TV. Offering beautiful wooded views any time of the year. On the lower level you will find the beautiful hot tub, relaxing daybed swing, and outdoor fire pit to help keep you warm on those cold fall nights.

Nice getaway

Great stay away from our normal. Beautifully located amongst mountains. Strategically located to go in different direction to enjoy activities outside of the property. Not a far drive to everything. Cabin beautiful and very comfortable. All amenities within the house were all accommodating. Fully stocked kitchen and grill to entertain without leaving for every meal. Saw wildlife including deer (Doe with two baby fawns) right on the driveway and walking in the property. Was peaceful and relaxing made use of the swing, hot tub and the big back porch. Was awesome. Planning next year to bring my parents. They will love it like we did.

Overall, we loved our stay at the Chardonnay Chalet. The home was beautiful and clean - the pictures accurately reflect the space. We pretty much lived on the deck and loved utilizing the outdoor fireplace while listening to the afternoon rain. Our only *very* small cautions are that the road is a steep gravel road that my father's AWD SUV had difficulty getting up (could have been from the heavy rain). Luckily, we also had a 4WD truck. Also, the house sits right above another home which was hosting a large group and they were on the louder side for a good portion of the weekend. So the potential for neighborly noise is something to consider when booking this property.

Great Experience

Chardonnay Chalet was exactly what we expected and more. The cabin was clean and well equipped. We hiked 23 miles in the three days we were there, and it was great to be able to soak in the hot tub when we returned each evening. Our favorite “room” in the house was actually the deck with the fireplace; it was where we watched sunsets and listened to birds each evening. We would definitely stay again.

Property was good. Definitely needed some tlc outside after the winter. Back yard area is bordered by a vine/bush with thorns. Hard to keep dog out. Had a few issue but Todd and Emily addressed them right away! Only 20 min do blue ridge. Definitely bring or request cleaning supplies if you are like me and like a cleaner space especially after cooking, no cleaning supplies in house upon arrival just an old broom.

Long weekend getaway

Such a peaceful, relaxing stay. Views were beautiful. Cabin was nicely decorated and kitchen stocked with everything we needed. We absolutely loved the outdoor fireplace. My only complaint is the cabin was so nice, I didn't get much sightseeing done! We are planning a return trip.

Our Weekend Stay

Everything about our stay was great with the exception of the living furniture that was worn out (very uncomfortable and soiled like a frat house) and all the mattresses were very uncomfortable too. So much so, that you woke up so very sore needing Motrin. Additionally, there was a foul smell coming from the laundry room. We kept the doors ajar so it could air out. The baking sheets and pans were put away very wet and greasy. No extra sheets to place on the couch, you didn’t want to sit on the couch without a barrier. And it was listed as a four bedroom, but it is really a three bedroom with a pull out couch in the basement rec room. Aside from that, the place was remarkably. But I would not recommend because the furniture was that bad. If the furniture gets updated it would be a five star stay.

Gorgeous!

We enjoyed our time at the Modern Mountain Chalet, our kids loved the foosball table and having their own rooms downstairs. There was a little confusion on the code to get in but the Hosts are very responsive. We hope to make it back to Blue Ridge and will definitely see if the Chalet is available. Thanks!

Great summer getaway

It was a wonderful place for our family to reconnect just after school was out. We enjoyed the out door fireplace. We played games on the outdoor deck. The hot tub and our door swing elevated the relaxing experience.

Lovely home; some furniture needs replacing

Overall we had a nice stay. Communication with hosts was great. The cabin itself was lovely. The furniture in the pics is accurate but years and a lot of renters later, some furniture needs replacing along with the outdoor cushions.

Great mountain getaway!

My family and I had a lovely time staying here. The point of our vacation was to escape daily life, take a break from the world, and relax and just be together. We achieved that here with no problem. We checked out a nearby antique mall one of the days, which was really fun. Another day we took a scenic drive through the mountains and ended up discovering an amazing secluded neighborhood full of huge mansions, so that was a lot of fun to look at as well! I recommend this rental property to anyone looking for a relaxing break from the world.

Great bonding time

Came here with my two kids for some time away. Beautiful quiet cabin. Was everything we wanted. Had great evening sitting outside watching a scary movie after dark..they loved it!!! The hosts gave great directions and were quickly available for a question. Recommend!!!
