"The property was ideal and as described. The only things we could have used was a fan and more mosquito spray! We were walking distance to the butterfly garden which was spectacular as well as a chairlift going up the mountain for a waterfall tour. It was farther into town than walking distance and only one restaurant nearby so I would suggest getting the meal option or shopping in town for food. "This is a fantastic property! It is a small boutique apartment hotel with lovely rooms and a very nice courtyard. Our room was 1000 ft.² with two bedrooms and a kitchen and the living area. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel it is in the heart of the old town - walking distance of the major sites. "

"We stayed at a one bedroom apartment facing east. This unit was on the 23rd floor and though it was high from the ground the noise of the city was loud. For a moment I felt I was in New York as the near by Atahualpa Stadium was testing the sound for a local concert. The other thing I noticed was that it gets hot in the morning if you don’t lower the window treatments. And one minus was that there is no dryer in the unit. "The apartment is nice, but be aware that the owner is quite inflexible. When we learned we were unable to have friends over in the apartment (building policy not mentioned to us at any point), we requested to leave. The owner was completely inflexible, and threated to charge us additional an amount if we continued to request an early checkout. If you're looking for a quick stay with a washer go ahead- but if you want more use of the apartment look elsewhere."
