Beautiful English Mansion, 1/4 mile from Lake and close to Arts & Entertainment

Stately red brick English Mansion located on prestigious boulevard, blocks from Lake Michigan and Lake park. The formal rooms are adorned with beautiful plaster ceilings, handsome woodwork and hardwood floors. The third floor was recently finished into a large and open entertaining space with a full bathroom. Central air exists throughout. The property includes a large and private backyard. The basement has recently been renovated and remodeled into an open concept suite with a private patio and two bathrooms. Additionally, a 7 person hot tub was installed on the outdoor patio in January 2021.

Best Host Ever! Thank you.This Grand Home was perfect for our large family gathering. Never even used some of the fancy bathrooms in the lower level!! The area is walkable and beautiful. We are renting again!!

Guys Weekend Trip

We stayed here with a group of nearly 20 guys for a long weekend in Milwaukee, and the house was exactly what we needed. Tons of space, plenty of beds, and a great setup for a large group. The common areas were perfect for hanging out, and the kitchen had everything we needed.Ajoy, the host, was great to work with! He is super responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. He gave us a thorough tour at check-in, walking us through the house and all the amenities, which was a huge help and was available all weekend should something arise.The house was clean and well-kept, and check-in was smooth. The neighborhood was wonderful, and it was a quick drive to everything we had planned: breweries, restaurants, golf, and downtown.This is a great spot if you’ve got a big group and want a comfortable, hassle-free place to stay. We’d definitely book again! Thanks, Ajoy!!

Christmas & Wedding Long Stay

Our host was amazing! This classic Milwaukee mansion is a jewel. Just know that while the # of bathrooms and master bedrooms are listed correctly, there is a Jack and Jill bathroom between the two masters. We would have preferred to know this in advance, but other family members renting mansions in the neighborhood experienced the same thing. Our host, Ajoy, was incredibly accommodating and let us know all the tips and tricks to street parking for guests. Register on-line, as he suggests, and watch your car stay safe while those who didn’t get towed away. This is a very fun house with a game room on the top floor for entertainment, with a complete apartment downstairs In the basement with two bathrooms. This is a huge plus for a family gathering! Gilded age charm, 100%! We will be back!

Great stay!

This was an amazing home! It was beautiful, clean, well apportioned, as advertised, and great location. We were a group of 7 adults and had plenty of room and bathrooms. The outside patio was lovely. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Large unique house in a great location

House is very spacious and filled with unique decor. Two kitchens, numerous bathrooms, and great outdoor spaces make it great for large groups. The owner Ajoy was immensly helpful and communicative. Great location, we could walk to coffee shops, bars, lake park, and bradford beach easily plus downtown and other activities wete short/cheap uber rides away. The only minimal downside was some of the sofas that convert to mini beds arent the most comfortable, but no place will have 12 comfortable beds - so it was as expected.

Bachelorette Weekend Getaway

This house was perfect for our bachelorette gathering! Ajoy the host met us when we arrived, gave us a tour & pointed helpful tips for the house. Which was very nice! It is an absolutely lovely home, We had a total of 12 women staying there. Plenty of comfortable beds and bathrooms to get ready in. We enjoyed the back patio with plentiful seating options The location was great! We got to every place within 10-15 minutes. Loved walking in the neighborhood & to Lake Park & to Bradford beach. I highly recommend this house for a large gathering.

Eastside Mansion with both historical charm and modern convenience

Fabulous location near the lake and the parks. Great outdoor and indoor gathering spaces for a large group. The host was very responsive. Historically appointed living quarters, with a modern recroom and newly redecorated lower level with all the modern conveniences. It was perfect for our family reunion. My only suggestion is to install a keyless entry lock.

Family Wedding

Our son was to be married in Milwaukee and we wanted a house that could accommodate our entire family , which included eight adults and eight children. This house had everything we needed and more. The bathrooms were updated and the entire house was very clean and well stocked. The top floor easily accommodated all the kids and the ping-pong table and foosball table were a big hit. The outdoor patio and amenities were outstanding. In addition, the location of the house was perfect. The kids could easily walk to Lake Park and Bradford Beach and the Downer Street stores and restaurants were an easy walk though beautiful tree lined streets. In regards to the owner, Ajoy was responsive to our questions before the visit; accommodated an early check-in; and contacted us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and that everything was going well. Ajoy is a very gracious host and very pleasant , which made our stay even more perfect. Each of the adults and even the kids often commented how beautiful the house was and how well it fit our entire family. One even asked if we could live there. We would definitely stay at the house again for a family get together. Thank you Ajoy for making our stay memorable.

Beautiful spot!

We had a group of 10 and there was more than enough room! The space was beautiful and clean. Host was great and has great communication. This is a great spot for a group of friends - plenty of space for everyone to have their own space, but also plenty of spots where we could all comfortably be together. 10/10

Amazing house in a wonderful location!

This lovely home was perfect for our extended family when we visited Milwaukee for our son's college graduation. The adults claimed the four bedrooms on the 2nd floor and the kids spread out on the 3rd floor. Having two extra full bathrooms in the newly remodeled lower level was a bonus for our large group too. We enjoyed every aspect of this house - from ping pong tournaments on the 3rd floor, large meals in the dining room, board games in the lower level, and visiting in the living room and outdoor patio. The main floor study was much needed since my husband had to work during our stay. We also enjoyed walking through the beautiful neighborhood to the historic Downer Ave. with coffee shops, restaurants and cute boutiques. Ajoy is a fantastic host and very responsive since he was onsite in the carriage house during our stay. We look forward to visiting again!

Memorial Day Get Together

The house was amazing!! There were 10 of us and we spent a ton of time at the house. Fantastic lower level for just hanging out, and fabulous back yard. Ajoy was a great host and provided everything we needed. If you need a nice large house for a group, I would highly recommend this property

Charming Mansion - Lakeshore Milwaukee

We came to Milwaukee to have a family reunion and attend our nephew’s wedding. This is the first time in 40 years that my brothers and I slept under the same roof. This house was perfect! The hot tub was perfect and enjoyable! We loved every floor … the modern finished basement, the classical parlor and the upstairs game room - ball room! Ajoy the owner is very professional and delightful! Cheers - until next time!

Amazing Stay

The house was incredible! The house was large enough for our group of 8-20 throughout the weekend. It was very clean and a fun house to stay in. No issue finding space to sleep. The house was in a good location to travel Milwaukee from. Ajoy was an excellent host and communicated proactively ahead of time. He was very responsive and accommodating to our questions and group. Great House

Great house. Ton's of room for our group of 11. Patio/grill and hottub were great in the back yard. Beautiful neighborhood. 10 minute uber to downtown. Fully equipped kitchen. Host was great. Couldn't have had a better place.

Beautiful house with all the accomodations

This is a truly beautiful house with plenty of space to sleep and hang out. We enjoyed the upstairs games room (ping pong and foosball along with lots of space and seating to enjoy), relaxed on the patio (plenty of outdoor seating to sit back and talk), and there's even an outdoor hot tub. There was enough parking for the 3 cars we had in the driveway + 2 on the street. The location is superb as it is close to everything, walking distance from some key places (Cafe Hollander is a 5min walk away for breakfast), and still very safe and quiet. Communication with our host was easy and fast. Check-in and check-out were both smooth. Highly recommend.
