Resting above Duboka Bay, Villa Duboka is a first row to the sea, wooded property located in 2000sqm of beautifully landscaped gardens (leading down to a swimming platform) with amazing views, broad terraces and lovely Brac stonework. Amenities include a heated infinity pool (24sqm), boat mooring (for vessels up to 7m in length), table tennis table, badminton court, kayaks, SUP and bicycles. A+++ energy rated Air Con in all rooms, high speed internet via Starlink. In villa catering, grocery delivery, boat charter and massage service is available on request. The villa film above (scroll to 25 of 25) gives an overview of amenities, layout and landscaping.
Villa Duboka’s award winning architecture, floor-to-ceiling doors, large picture windows and beautiful Brac stonework capture the soul of Brac. Especially captivating are the open plan living room and master bedroom, both with floor-to-ceiling doors opening onto broad Brac stone terraces.

The villa is well known for its spectacular views and enchanting indoor/outdoor lifestyle. It was designed to give the feeling of not knowing where the inside ends and the outside begins - and it succeeds.

Villa Duboka is one of the most desirable retreats on the Adriatic. The harbour of Milna is within walking distance (less than 3 kilometres) with cafes along the harbour, local shops, konobas, restaurants and beaches.

This villa is perfect for families and outdoor living.

Airport Transfers and Boat Rental: Guests have the option to transfer by taxi boat directly from the airport to the villa mooring (or Milna Town - 3km away). Rental cars can be delivered to the villa by prior arrangement. Villa Duboka has negotiated with a selection of local charter companies to deliver skippered or dry hire boats to the bay. Exciting day excursions to Hvar and the surrounding islands for up to 11 people are also available as well as an extensive program of tailor made activities for all ages (including wine tours, sea kayaking, sailing & windsurfing, rock climbing and meditation ).

Environmentally friendly: In Duboka Bay we try to respect the environment. We are part of a solar community designed to respect the nature and beauty of our island and to preserve the environment whilst providing Air Con in all rooms and a heated swimming pool.

A fantastic Villa for our Group of 6 , mid 20 sons with their girlfriends and us in our 60's . Being able to swim in the sea each day and use paddle boards was great . we also rented a boat for three days which we kept moored at the Villa. A good base to explore all the nearby islands . Martina was great and her mum and dad catered for us one night with fresh seabass on the grill . Overall an excellent stay .( we arrived and departed by water taxi which made getting to and from the villa very easy )

This is an outstanding property in a beautiful secluded bay with excellent facilities (we made lots of use of the kayaks, swimming pool, badminton court and table tennis and pool tables, and the sea was lovely to swim in). It is a five minute drive from Milna, which has some small supermarkets and lots of good restaurants on the harbour edge.Martina was super helpful both before and during our stay.The restaurant recommendations were really good - we particularly liked Konoba Gajeta in Milna, the Lemon Tree in Sutivan, Konoba Kopacina in Donji Humac and Restaurant Ziza in the countryside south of Supetar.Highly recommend - we hope to come back!

Wonderful Experience Near Milna

Our family had an awesome stay here near Milna. The house was perfect for our family of 9. The location on the water is amazing. We loved the pool and the outdoor grill. We got lots of enjoyment with the kayaks and paddle boards. Everything was great and as advertised. Martina the manager was especially great to work with. Very responsive and she helped with reservations at restaurants, with taxi’s, a boat tour etc…. We really appreciated her hospitality. Highly recommend.

Wonderful

The villa, just outside of Milna, was a wonderful base for our family holiday to Brac. We were a group of 10 (5 adults and 5 children/teenagers) and the house had everything we needed to keep everyone happy. The bay is beautiful and being able to kayak and paddle around the coves was lovely and we loved the chilled vibe of the area.We cycled most mornings to the village to get pastries and fresh bread and then spent the rest of the day enjoying all the amenities of the house. Communication with the manager was first class and we felt we could have asked for anything if we'd needed to. Great house, great location, great holiday !!

Just as good as we remembered

An amazing family holiday...we can't rave about this place enough. We came 3 years ago it was fantastic them and was just as good this time. All ages loved it the 1 year old, 4 year old 12,15, 16 year olds, those in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 70s.Martina was wonderful everything she organised for us worked like clockwork, we hired a boat to explore the island a bit, loved the swimming - the pool was great for the tiniest and the kayaks and SUPs for the teenagers, adults just lived swimming in the beautiful clear sea. We are already dreaming of another return as no where could be better.....

Amazing stay in paradise

This property is outstanding! Pictures did not do it justice. We spent 5 nights here with friends for my 50th and had the most relaxing and entertaining time. This villa has everything! Beautiful bedrooms, lovely entertaining areas both indoor and out. The pool is beautiful with a glorious view over the sea and the cove for swimming is so picturesque with crystal clear water and SUPs/kayaks to use. Plenty of space for people to get away on their own too. We had intended on having dinner in Milna one or two nights but loved the villa so much we stayed in the whole time. Martina the villa manager is extremely helpful and arranged for a grocery delivery upon arrival (we sent through a list prior and paid once there). She also put me in touch with a wonderful catering service who came in a cooked a Croatian feast for my birthday dinner which was delicious! We were so sad to leave and cannot wait to get back.

Wonderful holiday at this special house

We have just completed a 10 night stay at Villa Duboka and can, without hesitation, recommend it. The house is set over a number of levels with the upstairs main bedroom having breathtaking views over the sea. There are lots of areas in the house and garden to explore with numerous places to sit and find shade. Hammocks, tables, soft seating are plentiful throughout the garden and patio areas. The pool is in an elevated position with views over the bay and sea. The BBQ area is fabulous and we enjoyed many an evening cooking whilst watching the sun set over the hills. Whilst it’s a bit of a climb up from the private dock, it’s worth the effort as the sea is crystal clear and the swimming perfect. There are multiple kayaks and paddle boards to use. We hired a boat and explored Brac and the adjacent island, recommended if you like boating and they even delivered the boat to our villa! The newly completed games and TV room was a big hit with our teenagers and a great place for them to hang out after dinner. We were sad to leave and special mention must go to Martina who was on hand for everything we wanted, both before and during our stay. She was absolutely brilliant and made the whole experience even better. One of the best locations and villas we have stayed in, we will definitely come back.

A wonderful luxury yet homely stay

A wonderful place. The location is breathtaking. We stayed as a family of 6 for a week, and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. As others have mentioned, the villa has everything you could need. All the tools needed to cook/BBQ, board games, water shoes, toiletries, plug adapters, etc - they've thought of everything. With multiple areas designed for relaxing either right next to the sea or with beautiful views of it, plus multiple areas for fun activities like badminton, table tennis, pool etc, I can see why so many guests have said that they didn't leave the villa during their entire stay here. We did venture into Milna a few times & found this to be a pleasant 35 minute walk or a 20 minute cycle (though I'd only advise taking the bikes if you're a confident cyclist, as the roads are quite gravelly). We chose to take taxi's back home for €20. So €40 if you wanted to go both ways. Milna is lovely for a meal in the evening or for some (limited) souvenir shopping, & visiting would allow you to stock up on basics like bread & wine etc but if you wanted a larger, more extensive shop, it's probably worth asking Martina to help with this. Martina is the housekeeper (off-site) and she's quite simply wonderful. She was easily reachable via WhatsApp & helped us with many things during our stay, including food shops, taxi organising & figuring out the gender of the visiting cat who we liked to give fuss too! Our thanks to Gavin & Martina for all their help. We'll be back!

Outstanding experience

Our family of nine adults experienced an unbelievable three night stay at Seafront Villa. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a little distance away from the marina but that was exactly what our family was looking for. Communication with Gavin and Martina was excellent. Amazing seaside villa

First, let me say that Martina and her team were excellent to work with and made our stay very comfortable. Martina arranged all of our dinner reservations, to include chef on property that was absolutely incredible! The villa itself was magnificent and had everything we needed, and more! We spent the mornings down at the sea and afternoons by the pool before returning to the sea. It was a memorable experience in Croatia, the first of many to come.

Superb vacation rental

The property is absolutely lovely and in a stunning location. Martina was superb - she organised our water taxi transfer (highlight for the teenagers - Seayou also organise excellent tours) and our car rental. She was there to meet us on arrival, gave a great tour and was in hand should any issues arise. The villa was so well equipped we really only used the car for food shopping in Milna. The paddleboards/canoes/bicycles were used everyday,.The bay itself is stunningly beautiful for swimming in. Aquamarine, crystal clear waters which we really enjoyed first thing for our morning swims. The heatwave meant we did spend afternoon time either in the air conditioned luxury of the villa, playing the array of board games and cards or swimming in the the bay or pool. The television offered an excellent selection of entertainment options if you wished to indulge. The kitchen was so well equipped we cooked all our own meals and used the wood fired barbecue every day. It is a steep, stepped climb from the private dock to the villa but there are hammocks, swings and an egg chair scattered along the way, and it’s worth it for the views from the villa and to experience the beauty of the secluded bay. Would love to return some day. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Villa Duboka

Ten family members stayed at Villa Duboka to celebrate my wife and her twin brother’s 50th birthday. The boat taxi transfer from Split airport to the villa mooring was a great way to start the holiday. The villa itself is beautifully equipped and presented. We particularly loved the huge BBQ, table tennis table, bikes and hammocks. Martina the housekeeper was extremely helpful and friendly - communication with her was outstandingly good. Milna itself Is lovely with plenty of shops and restaurants. The only problem we had was getting to and from the villa (we didn’t have a car). The local taxis are efficient but expensive. The villa is located at the end of a very steep driveway. The paddle boards and kayaks were a massive hit with the whole group and the sea was just beautiful- such a treat to have the mooring at the end of the garden!! The steps back up to the villa are hard work and not suitable for older people. Make sure to pack plenty of insect repellent! Overall we had a fabulous time in the villa which has so many unusual nice touches - my son loved playing the guitars during the balmy evenings.

We loved the villa -very spacious for our group, comfortable beds and great seafront and pool areas, as well as outdoor lounge , lovely gardens and dining areas.Lots of seating both inside and out for our big group and we enjoyed the chef services booked on site. We liked everything about the villa itself and its beautiful location and having a pier for drop off and pick up for boat transfers and excursions was really great. The only thing we disliked was the walking distance from town. We would have liked to go into Milna more often but transportation by taxi was quite expensive and though its only between 2 and 3 km. away, the road is partly gravel and steep at start and end so not an easy stroll if you want to go out for a quick dinner or have any mobility issues. We were a group of 12 adults so not a problem for us to split on taxis but for a smaller group or family would recommend having a car or boat to go to town.

So wonderful!

Villa Duboka was absolutely beautiful. Situated on a quiet bay with a private dock and a pool it was everything we were hoping for. It had tons of amenities like paddle boards, kayaks, etc. The house was very spacious so there was room to spread out and allowed for privacy when you wanted. Lots of outdoor spaces to relax. The views of the bay were stunning. Martina the property manager was very friendly and responsive when we needed something. We would definitely stay there again.

A little slice of paradise

A wonderful, tucked away villa that is close enough to Milna if you want a restaurant, bar or ice cream but to be honest we struggled to leave the villa. It had everything we needed to truly relax and switch off: the kids spent all day in the sea, good running routes/cycling routes and Martina is a star!

Fabulous week at Villa Duboka

Our family plus partners enjoyed a brilliant week at the beautiful Villa Duboka. The house itself was great and well equipped and the outside space full of places to relax, read and sunbathe. We loved taking a swim, kayaking and paddle boarding in the sea - having our own mooring and sea terrace was a highlight. Thank you, Gavin , for being so adaptable with the covid situation and Martina for all her help both before and during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. A cycle ride to local Milna was enjoyed by all and we loved our evening when we had a meal cooked for us in the villa - it was delicious. We would love to return one day.

Wonderful week in Duboka Bay

This property is exactly as described, and everything we hoped for. The water of Duboka bay is crystal clear; the south west aspect of the house means you get the best of the day's sun and light; the property has everything a family needs to enjoy itself (and the 'toys' are all good quality); there are all sorts of great places to play....but also lots of locations to relax with a good book. Gavin is a very fair and responsive owner, and we are grateful to the flexibility he showed us during COVID when our travel plans were disrupted for a couple of years. Martina is wonderful house manager, responsive to every question we had while prepping for vacation and especially while we were staying there. The meals that Martina's family prepared for us were some of the highlights of our trip. We hope to be back!!

Kan absolut anbefales

Vi ankom til og tog fra villaen med taxa-båd fra Split, hvilket helt klart kan anbefales. Super gode omgivelser ved villaen og med super gode faciliteter. 4 gode værelser i huset og et ok værelse eksternt. To meget pæne badeværelser og to ok badeværelser. Super service af Martina og hendes familie, som hjælper med alt. Vi havde bestilt 5 gange "chef-service" til aftensmad, og det var meget lækkert og rigeligt, lokal mad og kan absolut anbefales.

Stunning location

We have just enjoyed a fabulous week at this stunning property in the most idyllic location. The little bay is picture perfect and the paddle boards and kayaks were used every day. The property is a real home from home and well equipped. We would highly recommend this property.

Truly a Special Place

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. We had an absolutely fantastic time at this special house in Milna. I never want to come back to the same place for future vacations because there is so much to explore in the world, but my stay in this special place may change that perspective. Such a beautiful, calming setting. A lot of space both indoors and outdoors. Fully equipped for playing and relaxation. We loved it so much, we only went out to dinner for two of the seven nights. Didn't want to leave. The crystal clear waters of the Adriatic. The private swim platform. The spectacular views. Amazing Martina and her assistance. Fully stocked kitchen. Wonderful a/c for hot days. No complaints. THANK YOU for sharing your home with us.
