A Little Piece of Relaxation

This beautiful large 2 story home is set back off the main highway, snuggled back in the woods. Home includes all modern amenities, including gorgeous hardwood floors, 4 large bedrooms (master bedroom - 2 queen size beds, bedroom 2 - 2 twin beds, bedroom 3 -1 queen bed, bedroom 4 - 1 queen bed, all rooms have large closets and dressers. 3 full baths all have tub/shower combos, towels/washcloths and laundry baskets. Large full kitchen - includes all dishes, utensils, coffee pot, microwave, side by side refrigerator, stove/oven combo, and island bar with 3 stools. Dinning room right off the kitchen that seats 6. Large living room with a hide away bed and and a couch that also is a bed with charging ports and a family room. Laundry room has washer and dryer, both are front loaders. There are ceiling fans, stand fans and fans. Air conditioners in the bedrooms. Nice front and back porch with outdoor furniture, large yard with a propane grill. Enjoy the sounds of nature and the running of the beautiful fishing stream right off the back yard, or enjoy a nature walk down the Catherine Valley Trail, a short walking distance from the front door. Air conditioners added to the living tooms in 2023. The house is located about 8 miles from Seneca Lake.

What a fabulous house! Can’t say enough! House had so much space and was so clean. Freshly painted and updated! Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. You had 2 living rooms to spread out in. Tammy was very easy to work with and very accommodating. Watkins Glen, restaurants and wineries were an easy drive away. Can wait to come back! Would highly recommend!

Lovely home!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Off of Route14 there is a little bridge that crosses over Catherine Creek that leads you toward the driveway of this home. We really enjoyed the town of Watkins Glen, Watkin Glen State Park, boat tours on Seneca Lake, wineries etc. Great memories!!!!

Great location

House was fabulous! Plenty of space to gather as a group but also offers private spaces for reading or relaxing. The location was ideal for our group. It was about 12 minute drive to the marina in Watkins Glen.

Fabulous!!

The house exceeded expectations! There is way more space than what the pictures illustrate. The home is clean and has everything you could need for a comfortable relaxing stay. The creek is awesome. The kids spent lots of time walking the stream. We sat with our feet in the water reading books. It was great. The yard is HUGE! We saw lots of wildlife. It is so peaceful. We were minutes away from some wonderful trails and a great ice cream shop , glens dairy.

Watkins Glen Race Trip

‘A Little Piece of Relaxation’ was awesome! Good location, very clean, well equipped, and up to date. Lots of space to spread out. Owners were very responsive to questions. House was located close to Watkins Glen international Raceway which was the reason our were was there. Would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home!!

We had a great time at the house. My family was celebrating the graduation of my son. It was a good 35/40 min from Cornell but was a nice location for us since we got away from the business of the Ithaca area. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly. House was immaculate.

Our group of 9 friends were exceptionally pleased with our stay. The house was spacious inside and outside with very well stocked kitchen. All was very clean with fresh linens and towels. We were visiting Watkin Glens and happy that we stayed here instead of in the town. Very convenient drive to everywhere with beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend

Wonderful place for family get together

Sparkling clean and well furnished, kitchen well stocked. I appreciated the extra fans along w air conditioners as was very muggy during the weekend. We had lots of family in and out over the stay and found ourselves moving from living areas, porch, deck and backyard, chatting and visiting. We visited some wineries, the Amish farmers market as well as Watkins glen.

The Perfect House

This is a wonderful house along with a wonderful Host. The house was just perfect for our family. It is very clean, the beds are comfortable. The pictures don’t do it justice. You will not be disappointed with this house.

Beautiful property and area

This location was amazing. The house was very spacious with 6 separate beds that was perfect for my friends for a bachelor party. Quite place roughly 15 minuets from Watkins Glen and possible wineries and breweries.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time visiting the Finger Lakes region. The house "A Little Piece of Relaxation", was just that! Very comfortable and relaxing. The space was lovely! Furniture was comfortable, which is not always the case in a short term rental. Having 2 living rooms was nice! Kitchen was well supplied. We prepared all of our meals at the house. Very, very lovely!

Wonderful Stay in Beautiful Area

I stayed with my wife and a group of friends for a race at Watkins Glen. This house worked out perfectly for the six of us with plenty of space for everyone and really nice common areas plus a nice backyard by a river with a grill. The house and property were beautiful and the area was gorgeous, very close to Watkins Glen State Park and a short drive to town with great stores and restaurants. I’d love to come back and stay longer!
