"Great value and very clean guest house. It was ideal for what we needed which was a base to visit a relative. Only thing negative was that we requested soya milk along with the standard dairy milk and it was not provided. Apart from that, everything was great."

"Great room, not much of a view but very quiet and comfortable.The shower was a bit of a letdown as it had no power but had a nice bath. Food was excellent."

"Arrived late evening and was met by a very friendly receptionist, who sorted out everything very quickly. The property is being upgraded and therefore has building going on, how's the room was of a really good standard and very clean. I was very impressed. The breakfast was good and had a good choice. Will use again and definitely recommend it."

"The restaurant was excellent although the service was slow as there was no Maitre d' at the door to welcome and we had to wait quite a few minutes to be seated. However, the waiter cleared a table for us efficiently upon request.
The setting was perfect for our outdoor weekend: rapidly flowing river outside our window and lovely views into the valley.
The room was comfortable and spacious fitting myself, my husband and grown son adequately."

"We checked in to this beautiful old inn, and were greeted by owner Johnathan, we were shown to our room and told if we needed anything just ask. Being the winter the kitchen is closed Monday and Tuesday which Johnathan apologised for, we replied it’s absoulutly fine. He told us of the local Chinese just up the road and said please feel free to bring it back to our room to eat, which we did.
Excellent Chinese takeaway.
We slept like logs and woke to have full breakfast that Jonathan cooked which...

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Didn't get to sleep til late as there was a private function but this isn't anybody's fault we were staying in a pub and expected noise. The room was lovely, very nice coffee! The staff were friendly and polite.
No real parking available but we managed to find a space fairly close by.
The kids loved the room and we would definitely stay again."
