Great Location Comfortable and Quiet

LOCATION

It's the perfect location for those willing to visit the city and it's surrounding.
5 minutes walk from the Central train Station and the shuttle's bus stop to and from all city's airport (Malpensa, Linate an Bergamo Orio al Serio), so if you are coming or leaving by flight or train you won't need to bother with taxis or public transport. Your home in Milan you will be just a short walk away.
Moreover Line number 1, 2 and 3 of the subway have station within walking distance from the apartment (maximum 700 meters) so any destination you are looking for is easily reachable from the apartment.

DESCRIPTION

Facing away from the main road the apartment is quiet and bright, and has everything you need for, a holiday, business or a shopping weekend with your friends.
The apartment is located at the seventh and top floor (yes, there is an elevator) and consists of one spacious bedroom with queen bed, cupboard, and an armchair, one living room with sofa bed and dining area with TV set DVD player and a little sound system for your I pod, a fully functional, self catered kitchen with dish washer and a bathroom with a large and comfortable shower and washing machine.
Free high speed internet Wi Fi 24/7 is included in the rate and the apartment is AC equipped. At your arrival you will find ironed linen in your bed and towels in the bathroom plus a bottle of water and some basic items for your comfort during your stay.
In the apartment you will find a welcome book with all the info regarding the apartment and the neighborhood plus some useful suggestion for your visit in town like tips on where to go for a your first aperitivo in Milano.
Moreover if you want to find a bottle of wine at your arrival or want some particular item from the grocery we can provide it at a minimum surcharge. Just let us know.




NEIGHBORHOOD

Located just outside the beating heart of Milan's centro storico (Duomo and Teatro alla Scala are 4 stops away with the yellow subway) with its business district and its famous shopping boutique of Montenapoleone (3 stops with the yellow subway) and adjacent to the emerging creative and design districts of Lambrate-Via Ventura and Isola.
Renowned shopping avenues of Corso Como and Corso Buenos Aires are also close by and the neighborhood is lively, with cafes and groceries, and has many restaurants ranging from regional italian trattorie and Pizzeria, to oriental and chinese.
Also nearby is the prestigious jazz club Blue Note offering live events and dining.

HOW TO GET THERE

From Linate airport shuttles run from 6:00 AM to 23:45 PM and stop in Stazione Centrale (4€/person, around 25 minutes).From there it's a 5 minutes walk to the apartment.

From Malpensa airport: shuttles run 24/7 and stop in Stazione Centrale (10€/person, around 45 minutes).From there it's a 5 minutes walk to the apartment.

From Orio al serio airport: shuttles run from 04:10 AM to 00:15 AM and stop in Stazione Centrale (5€/person, around 1 hour).From there it's a 5 minutes walk to the apartment .

Our space was clean and quiet. The area is steps from the Centrale train station so you think it would be loud with traffic and people, but it was not. We had a great stay.

I rented this apartment for the washer dryer. There’s no dryer though it’s in the ad. Hanging your clothes in the apartment was an added hassle. Also asked about parking and was told $15 euro but it was $25 per day. Hassle also was the locks from the 2 main building doors to another shared entry. Then finally one for entry to apartment.

Clean & safe

The apartment is approximately 12 minute walk from the central train/ metro station. There are numerous restaurants, shopping & a grocery store are in the station building. There are several restaurants near the apartment as well.The apartment is on the 7th floor that is accessible by a two person elevator or the stairs. The unit is clean, well maintained and safe. Tomaso, the owner of the unit arranged for someone to meet us at the apartment. Received instructions for checking out & on how to use the locks & elevator.The living room/ dining room has a large & comfortable couch, ample lighting from floor & ceiling light & large window that opens up, tv, storage cupboard, drying rack & broom. There is a small dining table with two chairs, the fridge is in the living room as the kitchen is so small. The bathroom is clean, well maintained, modern, has a functional shower with good water pressure (no shampoo, soap or shelf), the clothes washer, small sink (minimal shelves), and a window that opens up. The kitchen is small but has almost everything you need to cook a meal (cook top & oven). Recycling & compost containers were provided. Some spices were provided. There isn’t a microwave, but there is a dishwasher! The bedroom was large, the queen sized bed was comfortable, extra blankets, cupboard to hang clothes, French doors that open up onto small deck. We could hear pipes, water, noises from other units during the daytime. The apartment wasn’t anything special.

We had difficulty with the Vrbo app but Tomaso contacted us through WhatsApp and communication from then on was excellent. Check-in was easy and it was lovely that Rhaine was waiting to meet us on arrival. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable and it was very clean. We found an Aldi on the other side of the train station and stocked up on drinks and groceries. We used the cooking facilities every day. The washing machine and drying rack was so great to have. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water but you need to supply your own toiletries, which is fair enough. The location is excellent, especially if you arrive/depart via Milano Centrale train station. We walked to the Duomo and Old Town but there is a metro station nearby that takes you right there if you prefer. Overall, we loved this apartment.

Central location, close to train and metro.

Like others have said, the multiple locks can be a bit confusing, but in the end you figure it out. Washing machine was a bonus, but with only a drying rack, it takes at least a day. Kitchen is a little sparse, but we managed to cook dinners and breakfasts in the room. Bathroom was small but has good water pressure and lots of hot water. Small elevator, but with this apartment on the 6th floor, it'll be your best friend. Location is close to the train station and an easy walk to get groceries. There's a fun Beer Bar about 100 feet from the entrance, so getting a cold one is easy. We would definitely consider staying here again. On our stay we did a pasta class and went to see the Last Supper.

If you plan on moving about by train this location couldn't be better. I read a lot of reviews about the area around the train station being a little sketchy. We didn't find that to be the case at all. Multiple markets and restaurants were easy walking distance from the apartment. There was a great washing machine but no dryer. Large and comfortable bedroom. Bed sheets and towels were very nice. The 5 locks were a little much but definitely secure.

Convenient stay from Milano Centrale!

We loved this location for its convenience to Milano Centrale and its overall walkability within Milan. Check-in was very convenient, and allowed us to drop our bags off a little earlier than we originally scheduled. Apartment has a washer, as well as a full kitchen which were both very nice to have. The multi-lock situation can be a little tricky at first to match the correct keys, but hardly a bother. Elevator is also compact, but was fine for two individuals plus 1 piece of luggage each and backpacks.

Die Lage ist super.Der Check in hat super funktioniert,die Kommunikation war auch sehr gut.Der Fahrstuhl war etwas laut,aber man gewöhnt sich dran,es war ein Geschirrspüler vorhanden,aber leider so wenig Geschirr, das es sich nicht lohnt ihn anzustellen.Mailand ist eine sehr sehenswerte Stadt.
