Great time with my family! Will definitely stay again!

House is great, relaxing, plenty of room and things to do. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and drinking coffee in the morning. Overall experience was great!

Peaceful lake house

The experience was great. From the house to the scenery. House has all that you need and more. The place was super well equipped for cooking, furniture was beautiful and comfy. The checkin and checkout were quick and easy. Highly recommended.

A great weekend on the Bend!

Our stay was amazing! The host was so helpful and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We enjoyed grilling on the patio and movies in the theater. There was plenty of room for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Large Family vacation

Three families (12 total people) were able to come together to celebrate family and the 4th. The house was perfect with the pool table and movie room to keep us occupied at night and nearby lake for fishing, kayaking and boating fun during the day. The host quickly responded to any questions or issues that may have come up and worked with us for our arrival and depature time. We had a great time.

Family

Very nice & peaceful. We just wish that we had a pier to fish from. Also fourth bedroom would have either a closet or a dresser in it to put clothes. The kitchen & living area is just perfect. We had a great week with family.

Large Home For Group

The location was ok, definitely not a short walk to the marina across a 2 lane bridge. The size of home was great and the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Lots and lots of dead bugs on windowsills, counters, etc.

Nice!

This property has everything for a great getaway. The rooms are all large and nicely furnished. The theatre room was awesome. The area is quiet yet close to restaurants and things to do. The owner quickly responded to our questions. The seating areas were comfortable and perfect for enjoying the beautiful lake views. We enjoyed staying here very much.

Perfect peaceful space for large family

This was easily the best rental we have had. It was the perfect meeting point for family traveling from Houston, Dallas, and Southeast Louisiana to celebrate my son's 21st with 2 requests, fishing and family. The spacious layout of the house provided more than enough room for everyone. The house was fully equipped with all kitchen needs. The owners really thought of everything. We didn't need them but they even have a high chair and baby playpen. The younger ones loved the movie room. The teens loved the fire pit and pool table. The adults played horse shoes and drank coffee looking at the lake. Everyone enjoyed themselves from the old to the young and most of all the dog. The view from the back porch is great. You can't access the water from the property due to it being on a cliff but the Marina is 5 minutes away. We will definitely stay here again but a few days longer next time!

Great Spot on Toledo Bend

Our recent stay at this home in Milam was wonderful. The house was very clean and well appointed for our group. The views from the back porch and upstairs game room make this place worth every penny. We loved celebrating our dad’s 85th birthday in this beautiful setting.

Nice Location

Our family was pleased with the ease on renting this property. Check in was a breeze. Communication with the owners were excellent. It was cold outside the first couple of days during our stay, so we made the most of it and enjoyed the movie theatre and playing upstairs at the pool table. We also chose this booking because it was pet friendly. The location was great. We went to the Marina that was near by and enjoyed paddle boating. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property.

Wonderful home away from home!

We had a fun, relaxing time at this beautiful log cabin with lots of space to move around. Large bedrooms with plenty of closet room. All the necessary kitchen utensils were readily available for us to make our Thanksgiving dinner in the spacious kitchen. Nice view of the lake, too! We felt right at home!

Perfect for a medium to large party size. Property is awesome. Plenty of flat ground to throw a ball. Big enough fire ring to share some good stories. Inside is not crammed when everyone is inside at the same time.

Family Retreat

This house was perfect for a close family weekend. It was spacious, beautiful, and was equipped with everything we needed. The owners were friendly and non-invasive. The pool table and theater were an awesome added bonus! We had team matches and a family movie night. The view is breathtaking. We sat on the porch drinking coffee looking out in the lake. We just left today and everyone is already talking about when we will go back.

Gorgeous, beautiful retreat!

This home is just magnificent! The home is so beautifully laid out - more than ample room to spread out if you choose or pile in the large living area and/or cinema room! The kitchen has everything you need for gourmet meals! We honestly were blown away by all the amenities this property had to offer. The rooms are spacious and the beds were very comfortable. You can tell they take pride in keeping this property up and provided guests with the best! We evacuated from Hurricane Ida to this wonderful place which proved to be the respite needed during such a difficult time. The view is unmatched! The owners are top notch: They went above and beyond for us (and our pets) and were right next door for any and every need. I can't wait to return at leisure. Perfect for a large group or an intimate gathering! Thank you for hosting us!
