"We had a great stay at Margi House. The room was beautifully furnished, and the outdoor jacuzzi was so lovely. The hill, which many mentioned, wasn’t too bad and was easily doable. The receptionist was super helpful and friendly - always with a smile on her face. Just a few things that could be improved: our coffee & water glasses weren’t cleaned until the last day. Since we didn’t have a kitchenette, this would have been nice. The main pool was lovely, but we did have to fish out a lot of bugs...

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Close to bus stop 23 and for 3 euros you can get to Skiathos town and the airport. Bus can be very busy at peak times. There are quite a number of steps if you are walking from the pool or bar and restaurant area so may not be suited with those with accessibility needs. The downside is that you have to haul your luggage up an old stone walkway and staircase to check in at The Water hotel. Unfortunately, our bags were 50 lbs (23kg) each. Luckily, a staffer offered to take them the rest of the way to our room at The Rock, which is more old stone stairs up to an old stone walkway away. There are no elevators.
