    Walking distance to zoo, casino, beach, park and restaurants. Enjoy your morning coffee on the lovely deck or grill out at night. This property features 2 cozy bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double bed. Each bedroom has a dresser and closet for your convenience. The television is equipped with a fire stick for your streaming convenience. Guests can also enjoy amenities like AC, WiFi, and heating during their peaceful stay. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place.

The property is very close to the beach. 10 min walk and the property has beach chairs and towels available. Several great restaurants nearby. And the zoo is within walking distance. The hosts were very helpful when we had questions. The only complaint we had was that the mattress in each bedroom could use an upgrade. Overall the property was a great deal

The house was in a good location. The furniture in the house was really uncomfortable (chairs and couches). Both beds were uncomfortable; did not get a decent night’s sleep the entire stay. The porch is nice and did enjoy sitting out there. Would have been nice to have had a washer and dryer. None of the doors worked in the house; closet door in living room kept popping open and the bathroom door would not stay shut (which is rough if you have another couple staying with you). Location and porch were the best 2 features.

This was a great stay, close to the beach and a quick drive into town for dinner. The house was well stocked in the kitchen for cooking. Area was very quiet and walkable.

Very enjoyable stay with good proximity to the lake and town. One of the beds seemed broken and was not comfortable for an adult to sleep on, but upon learning this they planned to look into the problem and fix it. We were happy with the accomodation especially for the price.

Couldn’t have asked for a better location! Within a 5 minute walk you are in the beach. House was clean and easy to access. The deck was wonderful to start and end your days.

Such a great stay!

The house was so cute and the property owner was very kind and hospitable! The home was clean and it’s walking distance from the beach, The back porch is beautiful with lots of space, and the whole experience overall was great! I would definitely recommend staying here!

It had a beautifully appointed kitchen - one of the best - we had all of the dishes, utensils, & cookware we needed!The house was nicely & comfortably furnished, & the beds were comfy. Also, the shower was great.My favorite, though, was the back deck. It’s just gorgeous back there.

Amazing weekend stay!

My friends and I loved our weekend here! It’s super close to the beach, parks, and the downtown Michigan City area. It was the perfect size for the four of us and the owners were kind, communicative, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Perfect lake getaway

I stayed here with my three daughters, and we had a wonderful time. This home is the perfect location for any activity. We easily walked to and from the zoo, the beach, and nearby restaurants. Loved the convenience! The space was cozy, well appointed, and tucked away in a cute neighborhood. If you’re looking for a cute and convenient place to stay and enjoy Michigan City, this is it.

The place is very clean in a great location. The only slight negative would be the spare bed is hard. Plenty kitchen and bathroom towels. The patio is big with comforterable chairs. Thx for making 2025"s girls trip a success.

The location was great. It was a short walk to the lake, but with only street parking it was hard to get a parking spot. It was 4th of July though so, a normal weekend probably would have been fine.

Lovely

Charming home, spotless. Great deck, with lake view. Very quiet neighborhood, nice neighbors. Eat walk to beach, park and zoo. Nice for a getaway. Host was responsive when I accidentally shut off internet; she helped me get the problem resolved.

The location was perfect for what we were wanting. Communication was quick and easy, but hardly needed. Check in super easy. We spent most of our time at the beach which is an easy walk. Perfect for a long weekend with our family of four. Place has some years on it, so don’t think it is going to be the Ritz. It was perfect for us though and would suggest.

Michigan City 2025

We loved our stay. The price was fair. The location was so close to the beach. Most anything you wanted nearby was a walk or even a bike ride. The interior was open, which is perfect for interacting with our group of friends. The bathroom was roomy and the hot water was plentiful. The outside was large with lots of comfortable seating. Mary was a great host with great communication and pleasant manner. We lacked for nothing.

Very clean and accomodating space

This property was immaculate. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, as well as the large back deck. The only thing that would have made our stay slightly more comfortable is access to a washer/dryer. With all the sand and sweat, washing our clothes was a luxury I was missing. The house was well stocked with towels and cleaning supplies. The house was just the space we needed.
