  • Welcome to Sunset Rocks — a peaceful Mentone retreat where breathtaking views, cozy gathering spaces, and mountain charm come together for the perfect getaway. Tucked away just minutes from downtown Mentone, this beautifully designed 3-bedroom, 2-bath home comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests, making it ideal for family vacations, couples trips, or weekends with friends.

    Inside, you’ll find warm and inviting spaces designed for relaxing after a day of exploring. The stunning rock fireplace with gas logs creates the perfect cozy atmosphere on cool mountain evenings, while the spacious living area offers plenty of comfortable seating for movie nights, conversation, or simply soaking in the views. The large kitchen island and dining area make gathering effortless — whether you’re preparing breakfast before hiking or sharing dinner and stories at the end of the day.

    The downstairs bedroom features a queen bed, while the upstairs bedroom offers a king bed for a restful retreat. The loft area includes a full bed and a set of bunk beds, making it a fun and comfortable space for kids or additional guests.

    Step outside to experience one of Sunset Rocks’ best features: the incredible outdoor living spaces. Sip your morning coffee on the screened porch, unwind in the hot tub beneath the stars, and take in the peaceful beauty that surrounds the property.

    Located just 5 minutes from downtown Mentone’s shops, restaurants, and scenic attractions, Sunset Rocks offers the perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and mountain serenity.

    Guests will be required to complete a rental agreement, provide a valid photo ID, and submit a refundable damage deposit hold. This property welcomes up to 2 dogs with prior approval and applicable pet fee.

Beautiful cabin with gorgeous views

We had the best girl’s weekend. This cabin was the perfect home base. Central to all our hikes and shopping! It was the perfect home away from home. We had the best conversations with the porch looking at the views and by the campfire!

Wonderful weekend!

This was a great location- minutes to Desoto State Park and hiking. The house was perfect for our family if 4. Even in the middle of pollen season- everything was so clean! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and around the fire pit!

Sunset Rocks did not disappoint

Sunset Rocks was family-friendly, clean, comfortable and conveniently located between downtown Mentone and the State Park. We used it for a quick weekend get-a-way, and though the weather was cold, windy and wet, we had a blast. Thanks, Holly!

Spring break in the mountains

We’ve come to Mentone several times over the years in the fall but this was our first visit in the springtime. The Sunset Rocks was a great spot for our family. Beautiful views and only about a mile from Mentone’s main commercial center. We enjoyed the quiet and using the hot tub after spending the day hiking.

Hot tub definately needs repair or upgrade was not very hot even at 104 so heat pump may need replaced as well as jet blower switch did not work so generation to the jets was very weak also the jets need checked , had one floating in the tub where it had came loose from its mount and had to screw it back in its mount. Other than that was a very nice cabin and Holly was very helpful.

Great view!

Beautiful cabin with great views. Grandson loved playing on the boulders. Too cold outside to enjoy porch or fire pit. We did use the hot tub after hiking the parks nearby. Much needed good down time with family.

Amazing views, Beautiful cabin!

Our cabin was beautiful and well stocked with everything we could want from dishes to beach towels for the relaxing hot tub on a beautiful screened porch with a swinging bed! The brow views were breathtaking and enjoyed every day of our stay! The fire pit had firewood stacked and was in a great spot with Adirondack chairs and benches that we enjoyed every evening. Beds were comfy! We will definitely plan to return!

Comfortable, Rustic Cabin w/ Million Dollar View

Peaceful, quiet location. Neighbors at a distance - summer foliage gives lots of privacy. Enjoyed the cool nights & mornings on a long Labor Day Weekend. Our daughter watched the Bama night game from the hot tub overlooking the valley & gorgeous sunset. Manager “Holly” was easy to reach, quick to respond, & very helpful.

Girls hiking trip!

This was a fantastic place to land after long hikes on the beautiful trails in Northern Alabama. Bed were comfortable and hot tub on screened porch was just what we needed. The sunsets from the patio and firepit were breath-taking. You can't go wrong renting this gem. Holly was always available to answer any and all questions. Great customer service!

Peaceful and spectacular

So.peaceful and the view off the back porch was spectacular! The perfect get away for anyone who needs rest and relaxation.Plus the porch swing bed was awesome. Only recommended item would be to put safety.bar where u get out of.the shower. Loved it there will be back and already suggested it to my.cousin for her next girl's getaway. Thank.u for such an easy process to check in and out. Truly a one of a kind adventure.e

Great vacation at Sunset Rock

We recently spent six days and nights At Sunset Rocks in Mentone. The view is beautiful, the inside of the cabin is gorgeous and has modern decor. We had seven people in our party and had plenty of space. Holly with Delightful Retreats, went above and beyond to accommodate us with booking and address any questions that came up. I highly recommend Sunset Rocks and Holly with Delightful Retreats!!

A cabin in the woods with stunning sunsets.

What an unexpected delight to find this cabin in the woods. It was a wonderful start to each day hearing the birds chirping, as we sat outside and enjoyed our coffee. We spent our days exploring the local parks with amazing hiking trails, interesting rock formations and beautiful waterfalls. In the evenings we enjoyed stunning sunsets while relaxing on the big screened in porch. The home is comfortable and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. I have to say, we found the area locals to be friendly and gracious in their efforts to help out the tourists. Overall, this beautiful cabin in the woods on the brow and s a rare find and we will definitely be back again.

Siblings Get Away

For the most part all was as expected. Mother Nature threw us a curve with power outage for 6 hours but that was beyond our control.
