"Fantastic service and delish breakfast"

"Truly underwhelming experience all around. We paid over $700 per night and were like 🤔 whaaaat? Our room was good enough I guess. Lower level, no view. All the rooms are attached to the main building so you don’t have any real solo space to come and go. Things are a little run down. The “chef inspired appetizer” we got our first night was a cold chicken Ceasar salad with dressing and croutons from a package. No actual ocean views. We stayed at Heritage House last year and it’s 1,000 times...

"We left our food in the take out bag it came in, picked up but not to fill the trash. Some of the food did end up in the trash. Both the trash can and bag of food, as well as the chair and table were completely covered in ants! Kind of a bummer to wake up to at 5:30am!"

"We wish we could have stayed longer. The property was beautiful and location was perfect after a long day. It has plenty of amenities and the breakfast was a perfect way to start a long day of hiking. "

"It was a mother/daughter working weekend. Perfect location. We were at the JD House, queen guesthouse with a fireplace and were able to park right in front. We missed the wine and cheese which was disappointing, we’ll look forward to it next time. I We usually visit once a year so we will definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely stay. "

"Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat."

"The room allotted to pets is at the side of the house. Room was clean but very basic and plain w no TV and a small shower w low water pressure. For a pet room no bowls, bed or cookies were in the room. No breakfast was available and although coffee could be made the room had no milk or powdered creamer. Heating was a stand alone fan as the thermostat appeared to be linked to nothing. The grounds looked overgrown. Maybe nicer in the spring but at this time of year need some love. Even the...

"Wife and I stayed here for one night on our road trip and was probably our favorite stay. Got to explore the city and stayed right on the beach which made for a perfect sunset watch & sunrise walk. Staff was quick to check us in and helpful with where to go eat, very kind. Room and restroom were great size & very clean. Parking lot was a good size, not applicable to me but did notice EV charging. Overall very comfortable stay, would recommend staying here with confidence."
