Great house just off Hwy 287

Clean 3 bedroom and 1.5 bathroom house located one mile off Hwy 287 and not even .5 mile from the grocery store. Quiet place located just outside of town but close enough to all the amenities. Perfect location for visiting Caprock Canyons State Park, spending the weekend at Bob Will's Days, or your annual hunting trip. This house is ready for the whole family with 2 queen beds, 1 full, and 1 twin. It has a fully stocked kitchen to help you with your homemade dinner, as well as a propane grill to cook those steaks to perfection. There is plenty of parking area for trucks/trailers.

Rate is for three guests, there will be an additional fee of $30 per guest over three.

If you are traveling with pets, please contact us for pet approval. We will charge an additional pet fee as well as a damage deposit that will be refunded after cleaning, depending on pet damages/accidents in the house. We also have Priefert dog kennels available for hunting dogs, please contact host for more information on renting the kennel barn.

Great Stay in Memphis!

The house was extremely clean and just as described. It is absolutely perfect for anything from a couple to a small family. If we ever go back that way, I would love to stay there again!!

we stayed here on our family trip to New Mexico. Was a halfway point for us. Stayed going up and return. Looked at hotels on the way but none matched this place! Location was great, trailer parking. The house was super clean and comfy. our family of six fit great. Well stocked kitchen. Linens were fresh and clean. The towels were big and fluffy!! Very quiet and secure. Fit our needs perfect. Do yourself a favor and stay here you will not be disappointed. No negatives here. Thanks for sharing an amazing place to rest.

Great place to stay to shorten our trip to Red River New Mexico. Giving the grandkids a chance to take a break has made the trip easier on them. This VRBO was clean and comfortable we needed extra space to park our truck and cargo trail which they had. If you're in need of a clean, comfortable inviting VRBO this is a wonderful choice.

Home away from home

Not very often do you find a place on vacation that feels like home .... this is it. From the second we arrived we felt at ease. The entire home was spotless and well taken care of. I can't even think of anything that was sub par. When we do another caprock/palo dura trip we will definitely be staying here again.

Great place!

Everything was just right for us. We were friends having to make a quick overnight stop. The house is clean and well kept with nice comfortable bedrooms and beds. We used the kitchen to make a quick meal that night and it had everything we needed. I highly recommend to anyone needing to stop in the Memphis area!

This was a very comfortable house for us to stay. The owners do a great job of cleaning and leaving extras to make you feel welcomed! The only negatives are it’s advertised as a 1 1/2 bath, but the 2nd bath only has a toilet and on the other end of the house from the bedrooms. No sink, so need to go to the kitchen to wash hands. Also, the animal head above the head of one of the beds felt very uncomfortable. Fortunately, there were only two bedrooms needed, so no one had to sleep under the head. Other than that, it truly is a very nice place to stay! Thank you.

Darling home inside, kitchen was homey and good art throughout the home. Thoughtful snacks on the counter and drinks in the fridge. Movies and games to use and a grill. Several bed options and a nice area to walk around in. Off the main road so it was quiet and felt safe to leave our new car outside although we could have parked in the garage if we needed to. Great stop halfway to our destination.

Perfect place to stay when passing through. The property is private and the home was very clean and comfortable. It was also extremely well stocked with plenty of linens, toiletries, and even snacks. Easy check in/out. Recommend!

Wow, wow, wow!

Can I say wow again! Seriously you cannot say wow enough about this little home in Memphis, TX nor the host. It was clean, and I mean show house kind of clean. Nestled on a piece of property not far from the town in a location that was peaceful and quiet. We were meeting half way to pick up our boys and this place came up. They accepted our small dogs and large group of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) for cheaper than the hotel rooms would have cost. We had full run of the home and yard which was welcomed after being in a car for 6 hours. Well stocked kitchen, fridge with condiments, coffee and a grill to BBQ on. The beds were perfect, bathrooms well stocked, great living and eating areas. Easy check out process and a pleasant host who was kind and accommodating. Seriously if you need a place to stay in the area or while driving through north Texas this is it! I really just cannot say enough good things about this place.

Home away from home

My kids and I immediately felt comfortable in the home. It was clean, well maintained, located on a beautiful property. The communication was great with the owners and having a nice home to rest in after a 13+hour trip was much needed! 10/10 recommend!

Most Practical Stay in Northwest Texas

Very clean and neat at a reasonable price. Nice and private too, so you don't feel like somebody's looking over your shoulder all the time. Very neat and clean country home. Our favorite VRBO so far. Hoping to return this summer.

Lovely overnight stay

I needed a clean, safe, convenient place to stay to split up my drive between Dallas and Denver. This place is perfect. I'll stay there again when I'm driving through and need an overnight rest break. Owner was very responsive. The place was clean. The coffee and water are a nice touch.
