"Easy to find. Private parking down the driveway. Extremely well presented inside from a decoration and artwork perspective. The bedroom I had was very well put together from an esthetics perspective. Also, a nice, and well maintained garden to wander around. "The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner/host ended up greeting and checking us into our room. Gave us an upgrade and onsite laundry facility was a bonus. Made several recommendations for dining and breakfast. Overall the stay was fabulous!"

"Arrived at hotel early evening. Had problems from beginning i.e. trying to log in to pay for parking, enquiries re breakfast. Staff do not know anything about parking, restaurant and leisure facilities as they are all owned separately. Have stayed here often over previous years but sadly it has gone downhill. However, the room was clean, bed and bedding was very comfortable and bathroom/shower came with soap and toiletry sachets. We didn't get breakfast as it didn't look worth paying £14. ...

"Wow. this place was definitely something else. The experience really begins at the entrance of the estate (do watch out for potholes). The environment where the estate is just absolutely lovely. The staff were also very kind and professional. I felt very welcome here. Would definitely come by again if I had the chance! I was in a rush so i couldnt get breakfast but I would 100% recommend."

"New parking charge of £10 per day. Ants in bedroom, pool locker jammed and had to wait 25 mins to get clothes etc and asked for a towel to be told to use the hairdryer to warm myself. No plug in wash hand basin. Feel that hotel has been let to run down lately. Food expensive !!! "

There was a communal space to sit and have food, bit disappointed bar down stairs was closed ,but not in full season so not major issue. One recommendation is to swap the wood framed bed for a divan based, Badly injured my knee stepping down into the room hitting knee on bed frame as so close to step, this could have been avoided if was a divan which...

"This was a great and affordable cabin and it was in an awesome, quiet area just south of the caringorms national Park. The owner is a real gentleman and the tavern he runs has amazing steak pies. Would stay again "

"Ideal for short break"

"Nice friendly staff. However both elevators were broken when we arrived. One had been out of order for 2 weeks. The other went out of order the day we arrived. We had to wait 3 hours for a technician to sort it. Having ordered an accessible bedroom, which was in the 3rd floor, this is completely unacceptable. Nice hotel though and helpful staff"
