Great place to stay to explore the North & South units of Theodore Roosevelt NP. House is one of 4 units on the property and is well equipped & clean. It’s in a great location & all the sites & restaurants of Medora are walkable.

The location is great. You can walk right into town. The only complaint is they expect you to do dishes and laundry when you check out and then also charge you a cleaning fee. Stop trying to have your cake and eat it to.

House is in a great location, a few minute walk from downtown Medora. Property is tucked away on a quiet street and has plenty indoor and outdoor space. House is very well laid out and decently stocked with the cooking basics. Host was very responsive and ensured check in/out process was smooth. Would absolutely stay again!

We've rented dozens of VRBO properties, and this is by far one of the best we've stayed at. Super clean and well-appointed but it was really the attention to detail that made this place so comfortable. Night lights in the hallways, USB charging available in the bedrooms, lights bright enough to read by, throw blankets in the living room, and comfortable recliners (great for my dad & husband with back issues). We even had a group of deer in the yard each night. The location was excellent as well. Off the main strip of the charming town of Medora, but close enough we could have walked if we wanted to. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

To celebrate our 5th year wedding anniversary, we invited all our kids and two granddaughters for a Medora vacation. Accomidations at Dakota place lodge Roosevelt suite were amazing. Spacious and well furnished suite, wonderfully decorated. The back picnic area and grass let granddaughters get outside playtime.

The Roosevelt Suite was a fantastic place for our large family trip to TRNP. The house was clean, spacious, walking distance to TRNP south unit visitor’s center and a very short drive to Painted Canyons. The neighborhood was residential and quiet. We had 5 adults and 4 children use the space comfortably.

Plenty of space, great layout. Octagon table for 8, plus a bar/counter. Reclining chairs and sofa to relax at the end of a busy day. Big kitchen with just about everything you need. We appreciated the little extras, like dish and laundry soap, coffee filters, extra paper plates and napkins, local brochures, board games, variety of items for kitchen use. We home-cooked (and grilled!) our meals and had plenty of room in fridge to fill with groceries. Mom personally liked the orange plates and coffee mugs. :-) Located in the quieter part of town, yet still walking distance from stores, playground, etc., although we spent most of our time visiting TRP. Place was nicely decorated with some newer renovations and very clean. Was worth spending the extra money. Owner was super-responsive to our texts. 5 stars all around!

We were looking for a hotel in the area, and decided to try a VRBO instead. I'm glad we did. The house was clean, had a great layout, and each room has its own climate control for heat. The kitchen is a real benefit when trying to save money and eat healthy at the same time. I would stay there again if we come back to Medora.

We were very pleased with the VRBO in Medora. Diane, the owner, was very responsive. For example, there was a note on the microwave when we arrived that it didn't work - something that was apparently discovered during the turnover to our rental. By noon the next morning, a new unit was delivered. Diane checked in via text on a regular basis and was responsive to my questions. The rental was a clean property that was well-furnished. It worked very well for our two families. All in all, this was a great experience!

Very impressed. So clean and comfortable! Felt like we were at home. Comfortable furniture, big kitchen and dining table. Easy for cooking meals. Short walk to downtown. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. My brother and sisters had a great time and plan to go back.
