Pros
1- proxity to mosque. Hands down this closest to mosque and specifically to women's side so if proximity is your primary requirement and you can ignore all other problems then go for it. Personally, I will never go back to this even if this close to mosque as we have other hotels with proxity and I'm sure they are better. Which leads me to cons..
Cons
1- very old property. Carpet looked like it is very dusty but it was just old. Same with many other things.
2- bathroom was old. So old and small that if you open the door then person sitting on pot may have problems
3- I booked 3 rooms and for 1 room keys worked only 1 time and not next time. So everytime I tried the same key 2nd time after first successful try then it won't woke and I'd have to walk till reception to get it reset. I asked for help but they would just shrug it off with a smile.
4- I asked for plates in my room and they charged me 5 riyal per plate cash. For an empty plate! Which hotel does that?
5- hotel has two towers and each tower has A and B side. Nobody told me this during reception. I figured all this out by entering wrong lift everytime banging my head before getting to the right lift and room. They need to talk about this during checkin.
6- overall very old building, not the best management, okish staff and no intention to get better because they know people will come due to proximity. I won't!
