"Really nice room, nice checkin person. Everything was great, except that there were a few small ants hanging out on the desk - not a big deal, it's ant season. Breakfast was good, and the night before we got delivery from a truly amazing Indian restaurant nearby. "

"This hotel was very well located, in view of the river and easily walkable to the waterfront and all the quaint streets, shops and restaurants of Old Town. The Hummingbird restaurant was awesome - we had both breakfast and dinner there - and had lots of outdoor seating including some with water views. All the hotel staff were lovely. We'd go back in an instant! "

"Our stay was a God send from the week we both had. We actually booked this room so we would have a head start for the following day. We had to decorate the restaurant for an event, National Red Hats' Hoot Day at the Cadillac Ranch. We ate and just chilled out in the many bars eating, bowling, throwing darts and just having fun!"

"This hotel was wonderful! Preston, at the front desk, was very attentive. The shuttle to take us to the metro and pick us up was convenient, accommodating, and timely. The breakfast was outstanding! Teresa was on top of the food and was so helpful and informative. I would come back here in a heartbeat! "

"Great quick trip to Old Town in this wonderful boutique hotel. The hotel is very inviting with lots of great spots to relax in. The bar was cozy with a fantastic bartender and fun cocktails. They had a live piano player on Saturday night. The rooms are small, but modern and comfortable. It’s a very easy walk down King Street to the waterfront. Just be aware there is no parking on site. You can street park or valet for $45/night. Highly recommend! "

"I stayed at the Intercontinental for 3-night business trip and was upgraded to a marina view suite. It was a beautiful room, and I could see the marina and watch planes come in from the bathtub! I love all the touches the Intercontinental offer, it’s my go-to hotel whenever I’m in DC. "
