Classic Deep Creek Lake cabin with lakefront area directly across street, beautifully updated, in one of the best locations on the lake. Guests love being so close to WISP, grocery, retail and activities in the McHenry area. Private dock (in-season) and lakefront area faces west for great sunsets and extra sunshine hours. Deck on front of house provides spectacular views of the lake – with plenty of room for seating, outdoor dining, and of course the hot tub which shares the same great view.

Inside you have an open floor plan, with kitchen, dining room and living room. Dining room opens up to the front sliding glass door onto the deck. Luxury vinyl flooring throughout. Wood-burning stove provides a cozy ambience on those winter evenings. New whole house HVAC installed in 2022 provides central heat and AC. Escape the urban heat in the city and experience the low-humidity and gorgeous summers of Deep Creek Lake!

Master bedroom has queen bed and small half-bath ensuite, and the main bathroom is located centrally in the hallway. Second bedroom also has a queen bed. Third bedroom has twin bunk beds. Full size washer and dryer in separate laundry room – also includes a separate shower and laundry sink. Kitchen is well appointed with both standard drip coffee machine and Keurig and all the kitchen essentials for making meals. Full reverse-osmosis filtered water system. Gas grill on the deck – making it easy and fun to cook a meal while everyone enjoys the deck and hot tub.

You have access to the entire property - house, deck, front and back yard, parking area, and lakefront across the street. Property markers on the lakefront side mark where our property ends and neighbors begin.

For Summer 2024 (Jun 22 - Aug 17th, weeklong rentals are available, with a Saturday check-in.

DOCK - all docks have to be removed from the lake by December 1st, and cant be put in until April 1st. We typically will have our dock person take it out as close as we can around the 1st of November, and put it in as soon as he can after April 1st. Weather can affect this, as well as other jobs they have. Message us if you have any questions about docks being in around these times.

BOATS - Our dock is permitted for up to two powerboats to be docked at a time. Our private boat may be docked there during your stay - allowing you room for up to one boat to be docked on the other side of the large dock platform.

A relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband's birthday at Mike's and Heather's place. It's a great location - close to stores and restaurants. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the view of the lake from the porch and the dining room. The kitchen had all the items we needed to cook a couple meals. It was too cold for us to jump in the lake, but the water looked very inviting, so we definitely plan to come again!

Great Getaway

Great lil place to stay. Enjoyed birthday celebration for hubby. Close to stores, restaurants and activities. Lake, hot tub, mountains, wood stove and clean. Very clean. What more can you ask for. The host was great getting back with answered questions. We will be going back.

Weekend away

Great weekend getaway! Super close to restaurants/stores with beautiful lake view. Place was clean and bonus having water filtration system. There are a lot of steps from parking (since it was snowing we couldn’t get up driveway) but was not an issue.

Great Property

This house was perfect for our family of 4 with a dog. It had plenty of space and was recently renovated and well-stocked. The desks in the bedrooms came in handy as I had to work part of the time. The lakefront area is so nice. The Drinking Water system was a huge plus for us. We have one at home and usually make trips to the store to buy water when we are on vacation. No need for bottled water if you are staying at this property. Owners were very easy to work with as I had questions before and during our stay.

Great way to end our Summer vacation

House is small but worked well for 6 people. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials for cooking and eating. Location was peaceful and ideal for our family. The dock was perfect for our 21 ft boat. Lake Getaway

Property is at the North End of Deep Creek. A great location to access the on lake eateries. Property has a nice private dock for either your own or rental boat. The kids jumped and swam off the dock. Recently updated and very clean property. We enjoyed the week at the lake and

Amazing Location and Views

Fletcher's Cove is a small 3 bedroom home and it would be perfect for a family of 4 or 5, but was a bit tight for our extended family of 7. That being said, it was still a great choice because the views are fantastic, the location is superb, and the amenities are all there! We spent evenings enjoying sunset views from the deck, sometimes in the hot tub, and our days were spent enjoying time on the dock and on our rental boat. The kitchen was well stocked, we had a grill available to us, and the house was clean and bright. Overall, I would totally book this property again!

Great Vacation Home

Beautiful, clean, well-designed and well-placed vacation home. Communication was great except as regards the hot-tub. I had stated a lot of interest in using it during booking. Code to the lock was given but there was no water in it once we got it uncovered and there were no instructions as to how to operate it. We were concerned when the pump turned on but there was no water. We had to try to figure out how to turn it off so as not to burn out the pumps because there was no response to our request for assistance through the app. All this could have been avoided if there were some written instructions left in the home. Small issue with big impact on our stay- otherwise it was really lovely and we really enjoyed our stay.

Nice Getaway

Amazing Cabin w/ Lakefront Views

This cabin was amazing! We rented for a winter getaway and it exceeded our expectations. Spacious rooms, open concept living, cozy fireplace, lakefront views, and amazing hot tub. The cabin was 5 minutes from Wisp where we went tubing and close to eateries and grocery stores. The kitchen was fully stocked and we did most cooking there. It snowed while we were there and it felt like a perfect winter retreat. It’s decorated so cute and felt like the perfect mountain getaway.

A great weekend getaway!

We had a great time staying Fletcher's Cove! The location was absolutely perfect. Just minutes from town and Wisp. The house was so clean, and Mike was so responsive to our questions before and during the trip. Plenty of room for our family with games for the kids as well. Highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back!

Just OK not great for dogs

Disappointed there was no yard space for our dogs. There is a small lip throughout the house presumably from an addition. We all tripped over it at one point and my 75 yo MIL fell and hurt her shoulder. Either level floors or make it a normal step height. It’s dangerous. Also, please supply more towels. ? Maybe separate towels for dogs House very clean, beds comfortable.

Just What We Needed

This lake house was a perfect fall getaway for my husband, son, our dog, my sister, and brother-in-law, and I. We love to go to the beach together and now we love to go to the lake together! Unfortunately, Mother Nature put a little damper on our weekend but fortunately, this adorable lake house was just what we needed to have an amazing time. The hot tub was the best! We got to get outside even though it was raining and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake from the deck and inside the hot tub. The Fletchers thought of everything that we could have needed in the kitchen as far as silverware, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The house was so clean when we arrived which was a huge bonus. My dog's favorite part was sitting in front of the sliding glass door watching for chipmunk's gathering acorns and scurrying across the driveway! Going in October meant there wasn't much traffic so we could easily cross the street to the lake and dock to walk her. The front yard is steep and not the best for dog walking, especially in the rain with wet leaves. The back yard is very small too so not good for big dogs. We had a great time, despite the weather, and hope to return to this lovely home on our next trip to Deep Creek!
