Since this hotel has a no refund policy, we didn't have much choice as to staying there. Our room was under the stairs that led to the second floor and so was dark and didn't feel very safe. Would not recommend."

"The room was clean enough for me. It was within walking distance of a place to eat. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly, spoke good English and I was able to smoke in the room."

Guys had chairs outside their rooms upstairs and talked loudly way past bedtime I put in ear plugs and I layed my phone on the nightstand and played soft music I was a bit fearful being by myself so at 1:00 AM I put a chair and luggage rack up against my door. Early morning came - I was glad to shower and get out of there. BTW - my feet were cold. I found the blanket to lay at the foot of the bed. It appeared to have cigarette burns on it. "

"Staff was great but my room didn’t have a microwave & a tv that supposedly was new but never programmed to their cable so couldn’t get any shows. They offered to change the room but we were leaving the next day & it would have been a hassle & inconvenience . The refrigerator didn’t have a freezer part either so that was disappointing "

"Comfortable, clean, and convenient location in downtown Statesville. We were in town for the Carolina Balloonfest and to visit some local wineries, so the location was great. Other guests were there for the Carolina Renaissance Festival which is just 30 miles south. Cheryl and Jason are warm people and pleasant hosts. The inn itself is historic and furnished accordingly. The breakfast is continental, which might be a concern for some potential guests but was not for us. We will definitely stay...
