This wasn’t our first time staying at Casa Barros, and we really enjoy the location. It’s a beautiful building with excellent air conditioning and a lovely rooftop pool offering great views of the city. The hotel is conveniently close to Centro Histórico, surrounded by many restaurants, shops, and key spots in Mazatlán. Plus, it’s just steps away from the beach with stunning views.
Some of the staff were kind and helpful. A special thank you to Samantha and the cleaning team for making our stay very pleasant.
The check-in process, however, could have been smoother. Since I booked through Expedia, there was some confusion about an outstanding balance, but after sending screenshots of my payment, the front desk was able to sort it out. We had originally booked a triple condo but were reassigned to a double and a single room due to electrical issues. Fortunately, the staff accommodated our request for an early check-in, which we appreciated.
The rooms were comfortable and nicely maintained. We came better prepared this time, as the property doesn’t offer room service or cleaning supplies during the stay.
Overall, Casa Barros is a charming place in a perfect location. ideal for families who enjoy exploring Mazatlán’s culture, food, and beaches. We would stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
