"Cons: The issues began as soon as we arrived. Another couple stood outside with blank expressions, just as confused as we were. After several attempts someone finally picked up our call— to repeatedly say they had sent “several” app‑based messages, later they sent a whatsapp message with detials. As travelers, it’s unrealistic to expect visitors to download multiple apps, have stable network access, read instructions, and then open doors using codes. "The TV wasn't working and when I asked them about this they told me to message but they never replied or fixed anything. Also, keep in mind that the "breakfast" is a go-to breakfast which is just bread and oats and milk lying there in the kitchen. Maybe that is the idea but this should have been mentioned beforehand. The place is clean and roadside parking was available."

"Had a lovely stay at Oasis Guest House! I only stayed overnight for a World Cup match, but the room was very comfortable. The free upgrade was very appreciated, and the staff was warm and welcoming! The AC and luggage storing were such a bonus."

"Room was incredibly dated, especially the bathroom. Rug was frayed and there was an old school corded phone next to the toilet. Not what I expected from a “luxury” hotel. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were in tacky plastic white containers that had visible residue where they get filled. Bed was really comfy and staff was helpful, but the room needs some refreshing."

"Honestly, we have stayed at the Eliot Hotel many times and love the staff there and the proximity to places we need to go. Overall, the air-conditioning unit didn’t seem to work well and the room was very damp. I did let staff know about this as we were leaving and they said they would have maintenance fix it. "Beautiful property with lovely restaurant but rooms are small/tight compared to other luxury hotels. AC system was loud and inefficient. Reminded me of old Marriotts from 1990’s. Butler is a nice concept but slow responses $10 coffee was good but….seems a bit much. Good location. Overall there’s other nice hotels we’ve enjoyed that are superior to this hotel and less expensive"
