I stayed at this hotel with a friend while in town for a convention, and what should have been a fun and productive trip turned into an absolute nightmare. We both left covered in bed bug bites – extremely itchy, uncomfortable, and distressing. This was disgusting and not to mention painful.
We chose this hotel based on brand reputation and location, but this experience has left us questioning both. The rooms were clearly not properly cleaned or inspected. Having to deal with bed bug bites and the fear of bringing them home is unacceptable for any guest, let alone paying customers staying for multiple nights during a busy travel period.
I am requesting compensation in the form of a full refund or hotel chain credit to cover the cost of this stay. At the very least, it is what should be done to address the suffering, inconvenience, and frustration this situation has caused.
I sincerely hope management takes this seriously and addresses it promptly—not just for us, but to prevent future guests from going through the same awful experience.
