Watershed - Lake Karapiro

Our house has an attached guest suite and is located two minutes walk from the lake and Don Rowlands centre, licenced Podium Cafe and boat ramp .You cannot get closer. The accommodation is an entire wing located off a shared entranceway . It has two bedrooms both with ensuites , a lounge area and kitchenette which opens on to deck with a bbq. One room has a King double bed and the other has two king singles. There is a double sofabed and a single bed in the lounge which gives us the ability to sleep five. There is a separate toilet and hand basin etc.
Tea, Coffee etc and linens provided.

A beautiful place to stay and rest with my teenage daughter at the end of a 2 week holiday and in very wet weather. We marvelled at the beauty of the garden. Immaculately clean. Kitchenette has everything needed to self cater and was thoughtfully stocked with essentials and extras like slices of bread (I think homemade) and eggs. Easy drive to Hobbiton and Cambridge (lovely town). ‘Perfect’ was my daughter’s review. Judy was lovely and all admin was seamless. I will definitely be recommending to friends travelling to NZ.

Beautiful home. If you love flowers this is where you want to stay. The yard is stunning. The rooms were big and each had an ensuite. The washer and dryer came in handy. Thet supplied everything including some food for breakfast in the morning. The area is something else too. The national rowing centre is basically across the road. The parks are beautiful.

We had a fantastic stay with Judy. Everything was perfect. The accommodation is immaculate and there were many thoughtful extras supplied as well as all the necessities. Judy is lovely and great to communicate with. The location, right opposite the lake made a peaceful, beautiful spot to relax between work commitments. Would thoroughly recommend.

My friend & i had a lovely stay here, everything was clean & tidy & very restful. We very much appreciated the wall heaters as the nights were pretty cold. The kitchen was well maintained & had all sorts of coffees & teas & hot chocolates provided. As well as homemade marmalade, there was salt pepper etc & even Olivano, loaf of bread & 2ltr milk. Full kitchen utensils. The beds were very comfortable & lovely linen. Judy was a lovely host & made sure we were comfortable. The property was only about 6 mins from cambridge town centre. And just a walk across the road to a very nice cafe with a million dollar view of the lake & all the rowing. We would definitely recommend to anyone.

Judy is the best hostess!

We arrived rather late after an amazing day of Hamilton Gardens & Glow worm tour and it felt like coming home away from home. Freshly baked amazing cookies awaited our arrival and the place was clean and comfortable. We did a load of laundry and slept so well in comfortable beds with the most beautiful birds singing in the morning. Thank you Judy!

Overnight in Watershed

Judy,our host,greeted us at the door.Friendly and gracious she led us through our accommodation and we felt very much at home.Beautiful 2 bedroom home in a gorgeous garden setting.Unfortunately we were only staying overnight but it is close to a beautiful lake and bushland and it would have been nice to stay a couple of more days.I would wholeheartedly recommend Watershed to family and friends plus it's not too far from Hobbiton.Thank you Judy.

Amazing stay!

What a beautifully maintained and decorated house! It had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very central and easy access to Hobbiton, Waitomo Caves. Judy was an incredible host.
