Surpris d'arrivée dans une résidence senior, un acceuil formidable et pour le coup une expérience magnifique avec des résidents forts sympathiques. Cela change des hôtels sans âme.

Sceptical when I heard "Manoir" was expecting something old. It is up to date, clean, very spacious. The free parking was a must because we got there by car. Early check-in I think it was at 10 am but was ok for us because we where going to Brussels for a day. We enjoyed the pool which was a Must. Overall we liked our stay there even though it was just for a night.

The room was situated on the property of an elderly home which was surprising, but not disturbing. The room was nice and modern, clean with all the necessary facilities.

This property did not match what was shown online, we arrived at Manor House & it looked completely shut up, we walked to the front of the building to find an entrance & a massive old tree had fallen into the front of the building and it was all taped off! (We had booked after the tree had fallen!) There is, a modern apartment block opposite & we could see the swimming pool & gym through the window eventually we found a way in and discovered it's an old peoples home/ sheltered housing! So the bar, breakfast area, pool etc is actually an old peoples home and not a hotel type situation as depicted in the photos..?! The "Superior" Suite I had booked had a separate kitchen/ diner, Living room & bedroom, the "suite" we were given was actually just a very tired room that happened to have a couple of kitchen units in it?! I went back to the receptionist (who was lovely) to complain that the room wasn't what was depicted online and was told "yes, the photo's do not match the rooms"??!! What?! I work in advertising, I pointed out that this was false advertising and demanded the room I had booked, we were then shown a room that was more in line size wise as the photos, it was clean but definitely not luxurious, I think it should be run as as a separate business to the OAP home, no disrespect to the residents there, it's just not how it is shown online, the superior suite was clean and nice enough, it was really disappointing experience, not what is depicted on Expedia

Hot day- No air conditioning-disappointed

Lovely old building with pleasant grounds but the unit lacked a great deal. Firstly, no air conditioning on a 34 degree day is a huge problem for anyone. We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety. Kitchen facilities were lacking, no chopping/cutting board, no sharp knife to cut anything, no microwave heating bowl, slow oven top, no egg spatula or tongs, no toaster. Basics such as little bottle of oil for cooking & small milk to use coffee machine would have been nice touch.
