Devil Anse Off Road Lodging Hatfield & McCoy Trail House


This 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house offers direct access to the Devil Anse trail system connector between Rockhouse and Buffalo Mountain trail system. We are located right in front of Devil Anse, Hatfield McCoy Trail 59 and Devil’s Backbone lodging, which means you will only travel a couple hundred feet on the public road before you hit the trail access point. It is within 5-10 minutes to food, gas, car wash, and stores. We offer a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Each bedroom contains two beds, with a total of 7 queens and 1 full. There is a washer and dryer available. Our house has plenty of parking space and outdoor seating.

This was our second time staying here and it won’t be the last! The house just feels like home as soon as you walk in! The owners are absolutely amazing and very accommodating! Each stay out experience has been nothing short of amazing!

Family friendly location. Property was clean and neat! The property owner was extremely gracious when I needed to adjust our plans a little. Extremely accommodating to our needs. I will definitely stay at the property again. It’s right at a trailhead as well. The parking was a big plus! Having trailers makes it hard to find a property to accommodate that need. So easy, unload and go! Never have to travel to find a trailhead :)

Property was clean and conveniently located to the ATV trails. It had everything 8 guys could need for an ATV trip. The hose out front came in handy to clean off after a days ride. Another reviewer commented that grocery stores were not close and that was accurate as we found it to be about 25 minutes from a Walmart and groups of stores and restaurants. No fault whatsoever of the host, just load up on food or plan on driving a bit to a real store. Thumbs up!! We all said we would rent this place again

Great location close to trails

This rental had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. There was ample parking for 3 trucks with trailers and side by sides. The house was clean and beds were comfy after a long day on the trails. Homeowner was very friendly and responsive. We ran out of propane while cooking on the grill and he was there with a replacement for us promptly and stayed to have a nice chat with us. We would stay again!

Had a blast.

The house was very clean, lots of room, very quiet neighborhood, close to trails. I will say the only let down well I can't even say let down but the gas grill does need the burners replaced other than that it was great and we will be back.

Awesome spot to go riding from

Overall the house worked out great for us. We had 8 people, 3 trucks w/trailers, 5 side by sides and a wheeler with plenty of room. We used the back yard space to hang out a couple of days and the house with 2 showers and on site washer & dryer was super helpful! The only thing we felt could be improved for future stays would be the grill. It worked for us, but it needs some TLC or to be replaced. We would stay here again if we ever go back to ride Devils Anse, Buffalo Mountain, and Rock House.

Perfect for our trip!!

We had a group of 14 stay at this property and it was excellent for our trip to go ride the trails! Plenty of room for our trucks and trailers. The house itself was very clean and had all the things we needed. Definitely recommend staying here if you have a big group coming to ride the Hatfield McCoy Trails!!
