TRANQUILITY is Marco Islands best kept secret! This huge 1/2-acre property boasts a newly renovated modern home. We named the property Tranquility for its comfortable privacy like no other rentable property on the island. The property features a beautiful home, an extra-large swimming pool with southern exposure, a spacious covered and screened lanai, a studio style cabana, plus your own exclusive (no reservations needed) tennis/pickle ball court which been recently renovated.

The warm modern minimalist style of the main house has an open concept with an unobstructed flow between the large chefs kitchen, dining area, and the spacious living room. The kitchen features both an island and a peninsula with seating for 8 people and an additional 4 more seats in the dining area. The double ovens and a 36” glass top stove make cooking for a large group a breeze. Large sliding glass doors form the living room, dining room and the master suite all lead to the lanai. The screened and covered lanai is wonderful for outdoor dining, relaxing or watching the activities at the pool or your friends and family in their ongoing tennis or pickle ball match.

The home has 2 lovely master suites both featuring king size beds, ensuite bathrooms with large vanities, double sinks and extra-large showers. Bedroom #3 has a queen size bed, a spacious closet and a desk. The 3rd full bathroom is just a couple of steps away. The 4th bedroom is located in the cabana which is in the backyard/pool area. The cabana or little house has a kitchenette, a sitting area, a queen size bed, a full ensuite bathroom, air conditioner, small refrigerator and a coffee maker. It’s the ultimate private hide-away spot on the property!

Marco Island was ranked the #1 safest city in Florida for two years straight by Safewise. This rare property is located in the exclusive estate section of Marco Island which is quiet and has very little traffic which makes it safer to walk or ride bikes. You are sure to see lots of wildlife in the neighborhood like the islands prized sand owls and gopher tortoises. Best of all the #1 canal for viewing manatees is just across the street!

Downtown Marco Island has over 80 fantastic restaurants with an extensive variety of cuisines that will suit any appetite and choices for any budget. There are quaint unique shops that specialize in clothing, trinkets, souvenirs, candies, home goods etc. For the more adventurous there are boat tours through the 10,000 islands that may include shelling, dolphin watching, dinner or sunsets. You can rent your own boat, sailboat, jet ski or kayak. There is mini golf and beautiful parks with lots of activities for both young and old. Farmers market on Wednesdays and craft fairs that pop up every now and then. There are many churches on the island that welcome all. This is a small quaint island everything is a short car, golf cart, or bicycle ride away. Golf carts, scooters, and bicycles are available for rent on the island.

Marco Get-away

The house was exactly as advertised. Shawn was helpful and responsive.Beautiful property in a very nice part of Marco Island. The heated pool and the Pickle ball court were big hits for our crew. Additional observations: 5 min drive to grocery store. 7 Min drive to beach access. 10 min drive to great restaurants. Screened in patio was awesome in the evenings to watch TV outside while the little ones slept inside. The patio could use some additional seating for the TV area. The bedrooms would benefit from a ceiling fan...but the house was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful property, great location

We had a wonderful holiday stay in this beautiful property. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. The benefit of having a heated swimming pool and pickle ball court could not be overstated. We had a blast as a family.

Loved our stay here!

Our family loves visits to the Florida beaches and this was our first visit to Marco Island. While there is a nice beach here we had a hard time leaving this property. The inviting pool and the private pickleball/tennis court provided many hours of enjoyment for our family. The house is exactly as described and the owner was very easy to correspond with during our stay. We hope to return here.

Pickleball/pool Paradise

4 siblings & spouses enjoyed the property. We loved playing pickleball & swimming. We’d suggest a router to get WiFi in the cabana & softer bed pillows. Other than those suggestions the neighborhood was quiet & perfect for walking. We’d love to come again.

Beautiful home!

Shawn and Patti were wonderful, super responsive hosts! My dad and family of 5 stayed for a week and loved our time there. Big, beautiful pool with plenty of spots to lounge, screened in dining patio with tv and more seating; separate pool house with extra bed, ac, bathroom; and private pickle court, which the whole family loved. Thank you for everything!

Pickleball friends

We stayed at this location for a week with 4 couples who love pickleball! It could not have been more perfect…..the house and all its outside areas were amazing! The location was great….close to all amenities but not busy! The backyard was so private . The owner was so willing to answer questions and communication was quick. Marco island was a beautiful destination and the house did not disappoint.

Absolutely wonderful stay!!!

We had an amazing visit to Marco Island and this beautiful property was a big reason for that! It was spacious, updated, cozy, clean and was stocked with everything we needed. We had a blast on the pickleball court and laying by the pool. We rode bikes (provided) all over the island. Shawn was an incredible host and the communication with him was impeccable. 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration!!

This property is beautiful! From the modern and clean inside to the awesome outdoor area, pool, and pickleball court! We had a blast!! We were only a few minutes drive to the beaches and restaurants...which were amazing! And, we were content to hang out at the house watching football, dipping in the pool, and learning to play pickleball! We can't wait to return!!! The booking, check-in and check-out were easy and smooth as well!! Thank You!!!!

Very Nice Place with Good Amenities

We very much enjoyed our stay at Tranquility. The house was set up well for our group of 6 adults (me, my wife, our adult daughter, her husband, their 1 1/2 year old, our adult son, and my 80 year old mother). Only issues were the televisions work on apps and constantly lost connections (particularly the one in the main living area - guessing they need a new router) and we were left with a 1/2 roll of paper towels for 6 of us - hardly enough to get us through dinner the night of our arrival before obtaining more from the store the next day. Finally, we have rented numerous homes through VBRO, however, although we were charged a housekeeping fee, the homes rental manual and agreement stipulated that we could only leave 1 dirty towel per person, we had to strip all of the bed linens, and we had to empty the dishwasher as all dishes had to be put back in the cabinet. We usually leave homes very much in the same condition as when we arrived as we did here, however, we rarely if ever have had to make sure we only leave one towel per person, strip bed linens, and not only start the dishwasher but also empty it - tough when trying to pack and check-out by 11:00a but we managed to even swifer the floors.

Outstanding location!

We were extremely pleased with our visit to this property. The pictures and prior reviews matched up to our expectations and the the property manager was very responsive to our needs. I would strongly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away for a short vacation or extended stay. Lastly, the outdoor lanai, swimming pool, and pickle ball court only added to the memories my family experienced while staying at Tranquility. Thank you, Shawn!

Great Location and Great Host!

Can't say enough about this place, but I will keep it brief.... This was our first time traveling to Marco Island. The home was just as the pictures showed. Shawn lives not far from the home and met us and showed us around. We had a few questions while on the trip and he was quick to answer them. We enjoyed having our very own tennis court and pool that we didn't have to share. We would defiantly rent this home again.

Great house!!

We had a great time!! This property is very well organized and the owner is great!! We got in late with delays and all the restaurants were closed. He had subs and salads and other snacks waiting for us in the fridge. Pool and pickle ball court are so fun!! Beautiful screened in patio as well. You won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful property for our extended stay

This is truly an amazing rental home! This was our first year with single floor living and it was so convenient. Everything in the home was fresh, clean and bright, and the on-site pool and pickleball/tennis court were great. All of the other homes we have rented had a pool inside the lanai but this pool gets plenty of sunshine outside the lanai, and this allows for extra tables, chairs and outdoor soft seating and a big smartTV in the screened lanai. I think we spent more time there than in the house. There are 2 master suites with huge showers and it was a difficult decision deciding which one we wanted to use during our stay. It was just 2 of us for most of the visit, but when family joined us there was plenty of room for everyone! The owners and property manager were warm and accessible and went above and beyond (ie, purchasing a coffee maker and gas grill to ensure my husband had his 2 necessities for an extended stay). For those who prefer a quick Keurig cup of coffee, there is a Keurig built into the refrigerator door which was a unique feature. We also loved that there was so much less traffic being off Barfield vs. Collier, and supermarket visits were a breeze. Thank you, Shawn and Patti, for a great stay. I highly recommend this property.

Happy vacation

We really enjoyed our vacation. The home is well laid out and beautifully decorated with many amenities. Cooking for the family was easy with modern appliances and plenty of kitchen tools and cutlery. Everyone loved playing on the tennis court and riding bikes in the neighborhood and playing games poolside. Our host was very accommodating when we had a last minute change in arrival times due to some bad winter storms. This was a great rental.

Tranquility

First I must say that our stay at Tranquility was fantastic! The reason we came to Marco Island was to take care of our water damaged condo from hurricane Ian. Staying at such a beautiful home helped to make our situation much better! The house was very clean and bright. The large pool was very relaxing. We had some of our family staying with us so the two separate “suites” were very convenient and comfortable! Cooking was also a pleasure in this well stocked kitchen. Hopefully our condo will be ready to move in shortly. Although we have a place of our own on Marco Island and wouldn’t have to stay here again I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a very lovely vacation rental.

Tranquility

We had a fantastic vacation. The house was just as lovely as the pictures. We didn’t cook much but we used the large kitchen island for lots of snacking and cocktails. We traveled with another couple and the two master suites at opposite ends of the home were the perfect floor plan. If you choose to stay here, you must try the swing chairs in the one master suite. They will gently rock you to sleep! Fabulous! We also rented a golf cart it was a quick trip to the beach or any other place on the island. The pool was big with lots of lounge chairs. Though we never played Pickleball before we sure had lots of laughs trying on the property’s private court!!! This place is very resort like, and very private. We will definitely stay here again.

Peaceful, quiet and safe stay

I’ve rented condos 4 of the last 6 yrs at Marco Island. This yr traveling with family and a few friends we needed more space for the 7 of us. I looked at many but this one caught my eye. The size for our group was perfect. The fit and finished in this remodeled home are top notch. We had a vacation on our time. Having so many bathrooms, bedrooms and an outdoor shower made things a breeze. The kids loved the outdoor TV with the 3 fans on the screened lanai. The pool was so relaxing too. It was all ours. The cabana is its own 2 person room with a queen size bed, chairs, bathroom and mini frig to give two guest their own private space. I feel lucky to have found this gem at Marco Island. Very clean and a very responsive owner!

Wonderful place for a family vacation! Excellent communication with the owner, seamless check in and check out. The pictures are true to the house. Private, quiet, and the tennis court and pool make it so that we hardly wanted to leave the house! The house was spotless, nicely updated, and comfortable for two families. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. Close proximity to beach access and shopping. We definitely plan to go back every year!
