Smith Lake Cabin with Game Room

  • Comfortable gathering space for families on Beautiful Smith Lake. Pool table, Bar, big screen TV's, shuffle board and darts inside, deck, grill, dock, lily pad, paddle boards and kayak outside. This space was created to make memories. We are located in a small, family friendly neighborhood, and so restrict parties, loud music, and profanity outside and on docks.

    The stone cottage next door is also available if you have a larger group to accommodate- Property ID 3068637

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! So many places to sleep and tons of places to sit and relax, lots of eating areas and the game room was a big hit with everyone!! TVs were everywhere but we never even turned them on because of all the other things to keep us busy. Every morning I would walk and listen to the loons on the lake!! I can't recommend this cabin enough!!! The host, Sandra is absolutely amazing also!

Long Weekend Getaway

Cabin was awesome, the lake was even better. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We have stayed at several VRBO cabins over the years and this was the best experience we have ever had. We will definitely be back!

Perfect family get away

If you are looking for a nice quiet secluded retreat to reconnect with nature and family, this place has it all. Bonus it is just a short drive from a bigger city that has all the restaurants and city life amenities you might need. Sandra is a wonderful host who responds very quickly with any questions you may have. Could not be more pleased with our stay and look forward to coming back.

Fun place for family and friends

Snuggled amongst gorgeous trees with stunning views of the lake is the perfect place to stay with not only with your family but your friends entire family as well. Comfy beds, great gathering and eating spaces - we never felt crowded. Our dog loved every moment. Anything needed was already there. Great time was had by all enjoying the outdoor spaces along with the pool table, darts and shuffle board. Can't wait to stay again!

Great house w/lots of amenities!

House was very clean. Lots of things to do: fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, board games, pool, shuffleboard, lawn games, nice deck for sitting and watching a campfire. There is even a small aluminum fishing boat with a small trolling motor and battery. This was a pleasant surprise!

Amazing Property!

I’m hesitant to give a shining review because I am afraid that so many people will want to book based on this and it won’t be available when I want it! This was an amazing property, clean, safe, well cared for, with great hosts! I booked my trip for the next year the day after check out to make sure I didn’t miss out! Highly recommended!

Everything was great, we loved the place! Very cozy with lots of nice books and games (whole game room is 5-star). Hooks and nooks where you need them! Very safe staircases indoor and outdoor. Easy lake access, appreciated having puddle board and kayak. Boat was great, we used paddle board paddles. Enjoyed coffee on the front gazebo. Kids loved ninja course for swinging! Thank you, Sandra!!!

Family Vaca Aug 2024

Great property, one of our party dropped out so it was only 3 of us, and daughter may have been a bit bored at times. But the game room was awesome, would be great for a larger group. Host very responsive. Had some bad weather, was colder than expected for August, so not much time in the water. Recommend the Friday Fish Fry and the Lost 40 park. Beautiful, peaceful area.

Activites galore! Lovely place to stay

Our family of 8 stayed for two nights in September, a beautiful setting in woods near lake. The cabin was so spacious with two sitting areas, kitchen, two bedrooms and the game area, plus all the extra sleeping areas. We enjoyed the lake the first day, as paddleboards, swimming raft and a small boat provided, kids absolutely loved that. The second day it rained which did not hinder the fun as we played games (even bean bag toss) all day and watched movies. A wonderful rental and we all were very pleased.

First Anniversary

My husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. We loved the coziness and cabin feel. The perks of having everything right there at your cabin was one of our favorite parts. The water access is right there with kayaks and paddle boards and inside are games and a garage full of fun activities. Town is close by with a few cute restaurants. The only thing is that the internet was come and go, so we had trouble watching movies. Otherwise, it was great!

Winter Wonderland

Perfect location for those looking to xx ski and fish. Miles of groomed trails nearby and unlimited back country skiing via the lake and Chippewa National Forest. We loved how quiet the lake was. No human activity other than our group. The dogs had a blast exploring the national forest and its critters. Fishing was fantastic. There's a large sunken bar about 3/4 mile east of the cabin that supported a diverse fish community. The cabin is so spacious with the massive game room attached. So many sleeping options too. Thanks to Sandra and team for the accommodations! Highly recommend this location!!

Relaxing

My family enjoyed the game room and solitude of the property. Access to the docks was a little interesting. The railing was shakey and access was steep, going down to the docks. Once down by the lake, it was amazing. The Loon calla were my favorite part of the stay. My son enjoyed the boat, fishing and taking the kayak out. All in all it was a great experience. There were only 4 of us staying. If our group had been bigger, the 1 bathroom would have been a challenge. We appreciated being a le to bring the dogs.
