  • Welcome to The Gathering House — a charming and secluded 2-bedroom, 1-bath home just outside of Manhattan, Kansas. Perfectly situated on approximately one acre, this peaceful getaway is surrounded by beautiful gardens and mature landscaping, offering the feel of a private retreat while still being minutes from either side of town.

    You’ll love the screened-in porch for morning coffee or evening drinks, and the beautifully landscaped yard provides a quiet space to relax after a busy day.

Ana the owner was extremely responsive and attended to our every need. We had a great stay and it was perfect for our family. It is an adorable house with lots of space for everyone to spread out. We loved having tons of extra towels and a darling sun porch to sit out and look at the beautiful backyard and enjoy the weather. Location was awesome. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.

The house was exactly as pictured, but seems more spacious in person. Everything was exceptionally clean, and we absolutely loved the back yard. Easy to find with a fabulous “country feel” but less than 10 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go!My only comment, this isn’t negative because it has never crossed my mind before now, was we had no idea where to go when the tornado sirens went off. I wish there had been something in the book to give us an idea of what to do. The house looks like it had a basement, but no way to access it. Would definitely stay again, and have already recommended to several friends who have kids at K State.

The house was great! Great location close to campus. Clean and stocked with everything we needed. Great communication with the owner and let us check in a little early. Loved that we were able to bring our furry friends along. The only complaint I could make was the mosquitos in the yard were terrible so if you want to enjoy the beautiful yard or have animals coming along, pack bug spray. Thanks for the stay!

Anna communicated very rapid with answers to my questions. The home is very nice. Lots of space. It would of been nice to have another bathroom. Perhaps that is in their future plans for on sweet since they have a great location for one. The backyard is great for sitting and relaxing. Location is out of town but still is very drivable to locations in Manhattan with no issues.

The property is well maintained. Very clean and inviting. The host was wonderful to work with. It was an easy check in and out. We even checked in early. We will be staying here again when we are in the area!
