The Space:
We are excited to welcome you to Solaro, a stylish 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment located in the heart of Manchester between the Northern Quarter and Ancoats districts. The property features a contemporary open-plan design with a private balcony and sofa bed, sleeping up to 6 guests.
Living space
Step inside and you're met with a bright, open living area where large windows draw in plenty of natural light. The comfortable sofa faces a 55-inch smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime TV, making it easy to settle in after a day out in the city. When the summer days stretch long or the weekend calls for a late night in, the sofa converts into a double sofa bed - handy for up to two additional guests. Please note that sofa bed set-up is subject to availability and additional charges may apply; if you're unsure whether your reservation includes a sofa bed rate, please refer to our terms and conditions or contact the customer service team. From the living area, step out onto the balcony with outdoor furniture - a welcome spot to take in some fresh air and enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink.
Sleeping arrangements
Both bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds, each dressed with full blackout curtains to help you sleep soundly regardless of the time of day. Ample wardrobe storage and full-length mirrors are included in each room, so whether you're here for a quick city break or a longer stay, you'll have everything you need to settle in comfortably.
Kitchen & dining
The well-equipped open-plan kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. It includes a fridge freezer, oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, induction hob, Nespresso machine, hot water kettle, and toaster. We also offer complimentary Nespresso capsules, tea, coffee, sugar, milk sachets, oil, and salt & pepper. Essentials are also provided: washing up liquid, 1 dishwasher tablet, 1 washing machine capsule, a sponge, dish cloth, and 2 bin liners. The 6-seater dining table is perfect for enjoying a meal together or hosting a dinner with friends - it also doubles as a great workspace for those travelling on business.
Bathrooms
There are 2 bathrooms, one of which offers the choice of a bath or shower, and both feature modern rainfall showers. Bath towels and hand towels are provided, along with complimentary toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap.
Staying connected
High-speed Wi-Fi keeps you connected throughout your stay. Additional practical amenities include a hair dryer, iron, portable fans, and heating. For peace of mind, the property is fitted with a noise decibel monitor in the communal living space (please note: this is not a recording device - it monitors sound levels only), exterior security cameras outside the front door (monitored 24/7), smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit.

Solaro sits between two of Manchester's most celebrated neighbourhoods - the Northern Quarter and Ancoats - putting you within easy reach of the city's best independent restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and cultural spots. Manchester Piccadilly station is a short walk away, connecting you quickly to the wider city and beyond. As this is a city centre apartment building, please be aware that there is potential for noise from outside and from other inhabitants. Paid parking is available off premises. Self check-in
Arrival is straightforward with self check-in via smart lock, giving you the flexibility to arrive and depart at your own pace.
Guest Access:
Upon booking with us, you will receive access to your personalised Guest Pass. The Guest Pass is powered by Enso Connect – an Airbnb trusted partner. Here you will receive your check-in instructions including any access codes, Wi-Fi details, local recommendations (& exclusive discounts!) and much more. You will receive a link to your Guest Pass in your booking confirmation message.
In order to protect both the property and you, our valued guest, you must complete either a mandatory deposit authorisation hold of £250 or a £40.00 non-refundable damage waiver (Please note that the Damage Waiver option is not available for bookings placed within 24 hours of check-in, or for stays of 28+ days or more). This can be done on a card of your choosing via the Guest Pass. If you select the deposit authorisation hold, no monies are taken from your card unless damages are caused during your stay, or additional fees are incurred. This may be for things such as late check-out, undeclared guests, and/or extra nights. The deposit authorisation hold is usually released with 1 working day of check-out.
Kindly ensure that your Guest Pass verification and deposit authorisation hold or damage waiver, are complete prior to your check-in, as you will not be able to access the apartments until this is complete.

Please note we do not manage the building and cannot be held responsible for any maintenance issues in building communal areas.
If the elevator is out of order, you will be required to take the stairs up to the 6th floor to access the apartment.

Depending on the booked number of guests on your reservation, you may need to contact our customer service team who are on-hand to arrange a sofa bed set-up, where additional charges may apply.
