House of 220 m2 completely renovated in 2017 in the heart of the main tourist sites of Provence.
On a fenced plot with parking garage and swimming pool.
The house has large rooms where everyone will find their space of tranquility: large living room with armchairs and sofa, TV lounge with sofas and large screen, veranda with sofa and armchair.
The rooms are spacious with wardrobe or chest of drawers and new bedding.
Sheets are provided and beds are made on arrival + two towels per person.
Free WIFI connection
Outside large shaded terraces with a farm table + benches for your meals outside on the other terrace table and garden chair.
The pool area secured by fence and bordered by a screen, is equipped with a pool house with WC, summer kitchen with sink + barbecue, deckchairs, shade sail.
Private parking for 4 vehicles
Located on the edge of the village, it gives access to many shops and restaurants on foot.
30 minutes from the most beautiful tourist sites: Aix en Provence, Avignon, Les Baux de Pce, Saint Rémy, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes, Lourmarin, the creeks of cassis, Marseille, the Gorges du Verdon, Haute Provence and its fields of lavender.
Close to several amusement parks for children Giant labyrinth at La Roque d'Anthéron, tree climbing in Charleval, Village des automates in Saint-Cannat .......
5 minutes from the magnificent Pont Royal golf course.
Ideally placed for prestigious festivals: Lyric art in Aix, theater in Avignon, Piano at La Roque d'Anthéron

Coup de coeur

Magnifique maison, avec tout le confort et la sécurité nécessaires. Encore plus belle en vrai, cela a été un vrai coup de cœur. Nous n’étions pas motorisés et tous les commerces utiles sont à moins de 20 min à pied sans parler du magnifique panorama qui se trouve à 10 min de la maison. Propriétaire serviable nous a fait une présentation du village et mis à disposition tout le matériel nécessaire au bon déroulement de notre séjour.

Schönes Haus im Stil der Provence

Dieses alte Haus wurde liebevoll renoviert ohne dass der alte Charme verloren gegangen ist. Es gibt großzügige Wohnzimmer, eine sehr gut eingerichtete Küche mit modernen Elektrogeräten. Eine Steintreppe führt nach oben in die sehr geräumigen Schlafzimmer, die Betten sind sehr groß und bequem. Das Grundstück ist vollkommen blickdicht von Mauern umgeben und liegt ruhig am Ortsausgang. Der Pool hat eine angenehme Temperatur und ist ca.120 cm tief. Alle großen und kleinen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Provence sind von hier aus sehr gut zu erreichen, einschließlich schöner Wanderwege, z. B. die Gorges de Regalon. Noch zu erwähnen ist, dass die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit sind, der Pool wird regelmäßig kontrolliert.

Comme dans sa maison de vacances

Claude est un propriétaire à l’écoute. Nous avons apprécié sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse. La maison est idéalement placé dans le village de Mallemort. Un équipement parfait qui permet de cuisiner comme à la maison si on veut et de ne manquer d’aucun accessoire. La maison ancienne a un charme certain et nous nous y sommes sentis comme dans une maison familiale dédiée aux douces vacances. Merci.

Lovely Provence Village House

Good location 1 block from village center, epicerie, poste, Boulanger, pharmacies, restaurants. Large spacious house, very clean, with modern kitchen, sparkling clean pool, small garden with large outdoor eating area. We did not expect the security deposit to be in cash Euros, so that exchange cost us a lot. Some of the beds are very firm and could use a foam topper. Very quiet at night for sleeping. A great base to explore all of Provence with family or friends. Claude was very hospitable, leaving us wine, asperagus and strawberries from local farm. The Friday market is very well attended. The office of tourism gave very good advice. Eat at La Bastide de Tilleul in Merindol, very good. We visited Cassis and tge Calanques, Marseille, Arles, Avignon, Aix en Provence, Chateau La Coste, Chauvet 2, Roman Theater at Orange, Pont Du Gard, Salon De Provence Soap museum, all within a day’s drive. We loved the friendly little village of Mallemort. Easy to reach from the airport at Marseille, or TGV station Aix.

Séjour très agréable dans une maison agréable

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette maison bien aménagée. La vie sur la terrasse ombragée est un vrai bonheur pour supporter la chaleur. Très propre et bien entretenue. La visibilité de la piscine depuis la terrasse est un atout.

Great house in a handy location for exploring the nearby Luberon

The layout of the house was ideal for us as 2 families as we could have one half of the upstairs each without getting on top of each other. The house was very clean and was well stocked with kitchen items etc. Although there's no air conditioning the house could be kept cool well by keeping the shutters down during the heat of the daytime. The pool was great and the fact that it is fenced off was very reassuring as we had 3 small children with us. It is a short walk into Mallemort village which is quite sleepy but had a nice market on on Tues evening and a great boulangerie to get our daily pain au chocolat from! The only few things that I think could have made our stay even better would be having a fan for each bedroom and one above the seating area outside. To make it safer for other families with young children it would be best if there was a lock on the utility room door as there are lots of cleaning products kept there and some steep steps down to a basement. The top loading washing machine wasn't the best but there is a laundry just round the corner.

Lovely house and central but quiet location

Spent a wonderful week here. The house is very central in the village, but it's not too busy a place so no issuse with street noise. The centre is within easy walking distance, and there is a supermarket on the edge of town. The house itself is clean and has all the facilities you need. There has been some recent modernisation to the house including a new bathroom and two bedrooms. A second full size shower in the property would be useful for the number of potential occupants. There is off-street parking and even a garage to keep your car out of the sun. The pool was brilliant. A decent size for the size of the property, and well designed with the pool house including a toilet making pool side life much easier. It would benefit from a fridge in the pool house and an outdoor shower to rinse off suncream before going in the pool. I would happily recommend staying here, and M. Testaniere was a good host.

Wonderful home in the middle of the Provence

We (3 adults 4 teenage kids) spent 2 weeks in this very spacious beautifully decorated old provencial villa in the middle of Mallemort. The house was only recently renewed so that we did not miss any comfort. Still it maintained its provencial character for coziness and to make us all feel at home immediately. Thanks to the pool we even survived the summer heat we unfortunately had in our first week there. There is a covered garage for one (smaller) car and there is plenty of space on the locked ground for three other cars. The owner was very kind and helpful (thank you for your delicious tomatoes!). He gave us so many good tips for various discoveries in the region that we could easily spend another 2 weeks and would still not have seen them all. All of the Provence is only a very short trip away. You can even get to the sea in less than an hour. The house is right in the town center with shops and various restaurants in short walking distance. The bistro "Café de la Poste" serves delicious burgers and steaks, but don't miss a visit to "Le Jardin" if they are open. Because of the central location the only minor drawback may be that the two bedrooms facing the street catch a bit of noise. All in all it is just a perfect place for a family and friends stay in the south of France. Highly recommended! We do hope to come back.
